She was more preocupied in giving attitude the to actually listen to me and understanding what I was trying to say. This was over the course of 3 different phone calls and the last one I gave up and said that I would just go and find another doctor because I was getting nowhere with her. Lady, if you're reading this, please show more compassion and actively listen as opposed to focus on just "being right". Canada's health care is complex and inefficient as it is and doesn't need more help with that.

I came to the walk in clinic in a desperate situation. My daughter who had been diagnosed with a blueberry intolerance at the age of one, had come in contact with ingesting a blueberry muffin. An honest mistake made by the adult in care of her, with that said she immediately had a sever allergic reaction. Not having an epi pen on me I rushed to the walk in clinic for urgent care only to be turned away by the staff on hand. There was no one ahead of me or anyone else there. The doctor was finishing up with a patient, and I was told that once she was finished she was leaving for the night. My daughter who is only 5 years old was turned away with a medical emergency. I was told that they were sorry and to go to another walk in clinic. I rushed out of the clinic and headed to the next closet clinic. When I told them that I was turned away at Queens Medical, they were horrified and immediately saw us as my daughter did need an epi pen and she was having an anafalactic allergic reaction. I am thankful to the team that saw us (at Uppermiddle and Appleby Line) and helped my daughter in a serious situation and also disgusted that the team at Queens Medical Walk in Clinic turned away a child in need of serious medical care before closing, just because they wanted to leave early for the night! I will never return to this walk in again.

But for a couple of days I dealt with it and just took Advil. Until one day I couldn't take it any longer, I went to this walk-in-clinic to see what I could do. When I first talked to the people they didn't seem very welcoming but that really wasn't an issue, since I'm from the states and insurance doesn't pay from foreign countries I had to pay $130 (ca). Then they told me the wait was an hour, but it actually took a hour and a half. When they called me in the staff was friendly, and I really loved my doctor! He was very kind and sympathetic, and he diagnosed me with an ear infection. He gave me antibiotics and I was on my way! First time I had ever been to a walk-in-clinic and I loved it

She was great: Friendly, cheerful and quite knowledgeable. I wish she were taking on new patients as a family physician, because she was so very "comfortable" to talk with, and super efficient. This clinic is handy because it's right next to the Fortino's. If I need to go to a walk-in again, I'll try to catch Dr. Tam at this one.

This time was different, the doctor who gave her the shot was really rude and expected her to remove herself from the wheelchair, then he said oh hell I will do it sitting down. His appearance and clothes was one of a homeless man really rough looking and huge. he talked down to her for the visit. Communication between team members is non existent, the left foot never knows what the right foot is doing. Nurses were visibly bothered when you asked for care or had questions and spend more time gossiping with co workers or scrolling their phone than working with patients, physio refused to work with him as he was hard of hearing and could not follow instructions - disaster all around. It is obvious that the hospital spends millions on marketing material in an effort to convince the general public they care, this money would be better spent on the patient. Avoid at all cost.
