Then, when I was instructed to wait a few minutes for my masseuse, I quickly realized why. She wasn't even in the building. After waltzing in from God knows where, this woman did not even bother to introduce herself, nor wash her hands before abrasively starting my massage. Not to mention how she just threw her belongings on the floor and even decided to remove her own shoes. Not even two minutes into my massage, she began texting, while lazily massaging me in the same spot. I was bothered but decided not to say anything and give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was very important, so I waited a minute or so and she put it away. Less than 10 minutes later she was back at it. She wasn't even trying to be discrete about it which tells me she does this on a daily basis. I politely asked her to stop texting at that point, and she did...until she took that as an opportunity to CALL the person instead. I sat up from the table furious and told her to go take her call outside (I was prepared to leave at this point). Seeing how upset I was, she finally listened and ceased all her phone activities. However, I was still upset and could not enjoy the rest of my massage. Though I wanted to leave, I decided to make her finish the service since I had already paid for it. When it was completed she tried to treat me extra nice and explain how busy she was with work to try to make up for her nonsense and earn a tip. I tip everywhere I go, but definitely not this time. When I proceeded to walk out the door, she rushed after me begging for a tip. Before I could even finish saying the word "no", she caught an attitude and turned away from me. The nerve of this woman! Rude, unsanitary, and unprofessional. How is this establishment even still running?!
