I had such high hopes about working with Carol-Lynn's for my wedding florals, but unfortunately, it was the one and only part of my wedding that went poorly. At our initial consultation, I provided the employee, Patricia, with a photo of what I would like my bouquet to look like. We agreed that a family friend, a former florist, was going to arrange the bouquet, which was very meaningful to me on such an important day of my life; Carol-Lynn's was simply providing the flowers for the arrangement. Patricia wrote down and ordered the flowers from the photo. I paid almost $300 for a bouquet and a boutonniere for my partner - a steep price, but one I was willing to pay for beautiful florals that would last in photos forever. Unfortunately, my family friend doing the arrangement did not receive the correct flowers that were discussed in our consultation. Peonies, chamomile, and tulips were missing - three of the most important flowers for the arrangement. While our friend was arranging the bouquet, she realized she did not have enough flowers, and had to return to the shop for more. Thankfully, she has arranged hundreds of bouquets before and was able to make it look beautiful; however, it was not even close to the original photo we shared with Patricia at the consultation. I was deeply disappointed that I paid $300 for flowers that were not at all what I wanted. If they were unable to fulfill the order, I did not receive a phone call or any forewarning. It makes sense to me that I should receive at least some money back, as I did not receive the flowers I paid for, but of course that didn't happen. When calling to discuss what happened, Patricia placed all of the blame on the friend arranging our flowers and took no ownership of her mistakes. (For example, saying "maybe she just didn't know how to work with peonies so she didn't include them." Excuse me?) She was rude and entitled, which is unfortunately not surprising based on previous interactions with her. She was not very kind during the entire process - I'm not sure if it was because we are a same-sex couple, or just general unfriendliness, but I didn't enjoy working with her. She acted very annoyed when we asked for anything, which is interesting, because part of working at a business is providing a service to customers. Patricia also would not allow us to speak to the owner of the shop. I am deeply disappointed and, frankly, angry about my experience with Patricia and Carol-Lynn's. I'm only being generous with one star because my partner's boutonniere was fine. I would recommend working with literally any other flower shop in Greeley. I've worked in customer service for years. If the people at Carol-Lynn's even read this review, if you had made a mistake, owned up, and apologized, the problem would've been fixed; instead, I had to write this review. In the future, if a customer has a problem, the correct response is, "How can we make it right?" In this case, you can make it right by giving me a call and providing at least a partial refund for the terrible experience. You have my phone number. read more

Don't call and place orders. They are rude. Went to the store because it's so close. Ordered a corsage and bouttinere. They were supposed to be matching. Not even close. I get that sometimes flowers can't be controlled and they have to substitute but this was absurd. They didn't even remotely match. So disappointed. After ordering $70 for 10 balloons and 1 box of chocolates, only 2 of the balloons made it to my husband for his 30th birthday. I called and Donna nonchalantly tells me she forgot 8 of the balloons. After asking for a refund for the $10 delivery or at to split the charge with me to make up for such poor customer service they said they could not do anything. I explained there was no way I would spend $10 for delivering 1 small box of chocolates and 2 balloons but they still declined to make up for their big mistake. I will never order from them again. I try to support local businesses and since this shop is near me I ordered a corsage. With tax is was $21.+ What did I get for my money? One rose, one tiny rose bud and a tiny carnation with some filler. Never again.... I should have read the reviews prior to ordering. read more

My daughter ordered flowers for me for Mothers Day with guarantee delivery for Mothers Day. I received a voice message Monday late afternoon saying that I could pick them up at the flower shop. I received the voice message after the shop closed and I had an appointment Tuesday and not able to get to the shop by 5. I got another voice message Wednesday around noon and the message was a little rude stating that they had been trying to deliver the flowers since Monday. No they didn't attempt to deliver since Monday, they were paid a delivery fee and I have to pick them up. I called to tell them I will get them after work if I can make it by 5PM. Wow, I guess that they a didn't deliver them over the weekend and somehow I am at fault because I work longer hours than they do. read more
