This time there were about 10 people waiting and I finally decided it was worth it... and it absolutely was. The tacos were incredible, the service was fast, and they bring out 5-6 different sauces so you can try different flavors with everything. I sat outside, which made the experience even better great people-watching, amazing energy, and everyone walking by looked effortlessly stylish. Mexico City really is such a trendy, vibrant city. Honestly, I still think about these tacos. I could close my eyes and dream about this place.

Full disclaimer: these are my first tacos in Mexico City. The trumpo was really good!! Highly recommend! The res was good too, but not super standout. The chicharron itself was really good, but I don't know if I love it in a taco. The trumpo with the pineapple really stole the show. It's nice that the 3 tacos come with some potatoes. The potatoes were good! It seemed smashed then fried. Can't go wrong with frying potatoes. Food came out fast! It seems like this place can get super packed and busy, which I would think is a good sign!

This is easily one of the best taquerias in Cuernavaca…read more I just came back after spending a month in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I was lucky to stay only a few blocks away from La Gringa 3. We probably ate here twice a week. Needless to say, we tried many things in the menu. It never disappointed. No matter how complex our order, they got it right every time. Tacos al pastor are the ones you have to try when in Mexico. La Gringa has some of the best. You can also get a Ginga, which is a round quesadilla with Al Pastor. My favorite, though, is the Alambre. Get the traditional one with ham, bacon, onions. You won't regret it. We tried Tortas, potatoes, quesadillas, tacos de bisteck, arrachera, and other dishes. Everything was super tasty and incredibly cheap. La gringa has delivery, and you can also order to go. By the way, we were here late at night a few times (10pm+) and felt safe. I would still recommend eating earlier just to be super safe.

The line is fast since this is not a sit down spot. There is seating next door to the taco stand, but they are not affiliated with the restaurant and you need cash to pay for a table. We opted to stand at the counter. Overall, the tacos are really well cooked and so tasty. We got an order of each meat taco. My favorites were the steak and filet. I would love to go again, it was a good taco.

For its notoriety I expected a more grand storefront but it was just a standard food stall. You line up to order and pay and then they give you your food. You can take your food to go or grab one of the few tables next to the shop. The unique thing about this taqueria is that they cook their meats in slabs and place them on the tortillas as-is. They don't chop up your meat into dices and they don't have the typical taco proteins you'd expect either. We ordered most of the meats: steak ($58 MXN), rib ($88), filet ($77), and chop ($88). My favorites were the steak and chop. The rib was a little tough. All the meats tasted better with salt and I liked the green salsa on top. These weren't the best tacos I've ever had but they were good. While its Michelin star meant that I had to try it, I probably wouldn't go back.
