Carmel Flower Shop - Heart of Gold bouquet - Florists Near Me - Carmel, New York

What a cute and unassuming little flower shop located in the Tops plaza. From the outside, you'd never expect a world of plants, gifts, flowers and all kinds of cute things. This place is brother and sister owned (soo cool right?) and they've been in business for 40 years. That means they're for SURE doing something right hehe. You can pick up a little thought, a flower, a whole bouquet, something pre arranged, a plant, all the things that scream (silently) that you LOVE and CARE about a special someone. It's such a cute little store and you will for sure find a little thought for anyone on your list. Plus, if you're already grocery shopping or stopped for a bagel or smoothie next door, why not check this place out too? read more

Unfortunately after being a constant customer faced a petty man perhaps owner who despite my going to purchase items would not trim flowers I had in hand before going to cemetery. I would have paid for it but he chose to be rude and petty so fk him! I will not support them anymore. read more

Have been going here for years! My husband has been going there and bringing me flowers from there all the time! They always have fresh beautiful exotic flowers! Whenever I happen to accompany my husband, Ed and Diane, the owners are always vey helpful. From time to time, Ed has given us a new flower on the house with our purchase. I think that is so nice to do. I have also ordered from them. I once purchased about 10 orchids and ceramic pots for my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary celebration! They were beautiful! They also have a huge variety of gifts , like jewelry, baby stuff, scarves, candles, cards etc... everything high end....nothing looks cheap. Their prices are fair, a little on the high side, but you get what you pay for. read more

The folks at the Carmel flower shop did such an amazing job with all of the floral arrangements for my mothers funeral. They were very kind and delivered all arrangements on time. They communicated any substitutions of specific flowers and confirmed all details before making the arrangements. Under such terrible circumstances the Carmel flower shop made the day more beautiful and easier to get through! Thank you for your hard work! All of the arrangements were absolutely stunning. My mother would have loved all of it! read more

I have been doing business here for a few years and have always had a wonderful experience. In the past month I have had to place two orders that required a timely turnaround. Cathy has assisted me by email as well as by phone and was able to make two beautiful floral arrangements. She has been very kind and you can tell by the arrangements that her personal touch was evident. Both orders I requested specific color flowers and they came out perfect. What a beautiful shop with many unique and personalized gifts. Glad to have it as a local business! read more

I patronize Carmel Flower shop for my floral needs in the area. I usually select the designers choice. I give the florist general input(occasion and preferences). The arrangement is made at the discretion of the florist. My recipients and I have always been pleased with the result. The flowers are fresh and the designs are up-to-date I am very pleased with their work. I highly recommend them. read more

I ordered a corsage two weeks ago paid for it when I ordered it. When I went to pick it up it was the wrong color with the wrong colored ribbon and the rose way wilted. Definitely do not recommend read more

We hired Diane from Carmel Flower Shop for our wedding, and we could not be happier with our service! We didn't know much about specific types of flowers, so we really just went in with ideas for colors. Diane took the reins from there and delivered some amazing arrangements! Everything came out looking amazing. There was a small question about where to drop off the flowers at the church, and it was something that I was going to try to take care of during wedding week, but Diane handled that for me just to take it off my plate, which I really appreciated! On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable. If you need flowers for any occasion, and want some personal service to go along with them, go with Carmel Flower Shop! read more

My family has been doing business with this shop for as long as I can remember. The staff is always friendly and helpful. In addition to a very good flower selection, the shop had lots of neat little gift type items. I have stopped in here before on my way to Birthday parties, and am never disappointed. read more

The Carmel Flower Shop did an absolute amazing job at our wedding. I didn't have a solid idea of what I wanted for bouquets and Diane sat down with us to go through photos on pinterest and pick out different aspects I liked of each picture. The final result was beautiful and I couldn't have been happier. For the center pieces, we had a photo of something we wanted and it turned out some of the flowers in it made it out of our price range, but she worked with us to change those out for flowers that were just as beautiful and created the perfect center pieces within our price range. Diane was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend Carmel Flower Shop! read more

Carmel Flower Shop - "Valentines Day in The Park" - deluxe - Florists Near Me - Carmel, New York

This review is not a reflection of their actual product or customer service. However, what I must say is that they have no regard to pedestrian traffic in front of their store. Their minds are solely on profit. My brother (who lives in Putnam) and I were "walking" there two times in front of the store. He is in a wheelchair. Because of their flower arrangements being all over the sidewalk, we had to "walk" off the sidewalk and on the road in the cold and rain. This happened twice. Are they also leasing the sidewalk? I am going to find the owners/management of Putnam Plaza and file a formal complaint. It is very disrespectful on their part. I was tempted to go inside and complain, but I would get in an argument with them (or worse) and did not need the police to show up.. read more

I was quite disappointed over an order I attempted to make. I usually order via 800-Flowers, this time I thought I would order from a local business again. I had ordered from Carmel Flower about 5 times before. I called about mid afternoon and asked if I could place an order for delivery the same afternoon. I was told sorry but the delivery person is just about to leave. I asked well anytime this evening would be great, she stated no sorry too late, you can order now for delivery tomorrow. Hmmmm can someone say Customer Service? I will never order from here again. read more

I have shopped at Carmel Flower Shop for over 20 years. I am very picky about my flowers, and I appreciate quality. I get that at this shop. The flowers are always fresh, well cared for, and LONG LASTING in my arrangements. Selection is unique; there are always exotic blooms, unusual tropical varieties, as well as the everyday boring fare. What I also get is great service. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive to my needs, and patient with me. The owners know me like family, and I always feel special when I visit. It's that extra mile that makes all the difference. First class product. First class service. Meticulous attention to detail. It doesn't get any better than that . read more

Love this shop! The flowers last as long as any flowers I've ever gotten and the store is beautiful. I can always find gifts- for babies, girlfriends or for hospitality. Their jewelry and accessories are so much fun. Classy store! read more

This is the nicest flower shop I've ever been in. They have a really big selection of flowers and arrangements, a lot more than the usual carnations and roses. I have bought flowers here that have lasted more than two weeks, so the quality is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can also get a nice gift here - they have jewelry, scarves, books, all sorts of things you would not expect to see at a florist. A great find! read more

Must have caught them on a bad day. Called this afternoon for a wrist corsage for my daughter's confirmation tomorrow morning and they could not do it tonight. While I could understand that since I was calling late it the day. I was shocked when they said they could not help me until the next afternoon which was too late for the event. When I advised them of that they were unwilling to do anything for me. Really!! A wrist corsage is very small and easy item to get ready I guess they have enough business as the only competitor in the immediate area is Shop-Rite!! No problem a florist near my office was happy to help me out within 20 minutes. I will use them again and skip Carmel Flower Shop. read more

We used Carmel Flower Shop for our wedding on August 27th. We worked with Diane, who was so wonderful right from the start. For our consultation meeting, I pretty much showed her a photo of what I wanted the bouquets and centerpieces to look like and she replicated it to the T. She even went above and beyond to make sure that we found the right shade of pink for the roses. I moved to South Carolina in the middle of our wedding planning, so most of our communication was via e-mail after this. She was always quick to reply to all of my questions. On the day of the wedding, she arrived promptly to drop everything off. The bouquets were more beautiful than I could have even imagined; I could not stop staring- they were stunning. All of them were delivered in their own vase with water to ensure they did not wilt. Also, as if that wasn't enough for a 5-start review, since my mom decided not to get a corsage, Diane went ahead and created a small floral arrangement just for her. It was so kind and thoughtful of her to do. My husband has also used CFS to send me roses for the past several years; they have always done a great job and their arrangements last such a long time. Thank you so much to everyone in the Carmel Flower Shop, but especially Diane. Thank you for helping to make our special day beautiful, you truly went above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate it. read more
