They have probably the largest selection of wines I have seen on any website and their prices will usually beat every other location. I have looked into. For example a bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling is usually $10-13 a bottle. They have it for under $9. I ordered a case which was delivered two days later for like $12 which is still cheaper. Some more expensive wines might actually give you free shipping. Going back to the case I ordered. I realized three days later that sent me the "sweet" Riesling. Which is too sweet for me. I called they check my order and switched it out the next day GREAT customer service. I will be using them a lot more often since it is so convenient and just talking to them feels like they really care. One day I'm make the trip there ( when I have about $500 to spend ) to make it worth while.

For a relatively small space, it's amazing how much they carry and just how well organized it is. The wines dominate the middle aisles. On the right, you have some New York State wines, and you've also got Asian selections, including a large variety of Sake. On the left, you have your liquors, and these are competitively priced. Plus, given how close it is to my home, it's very convenient for me.

And that you should be able to get very good wine for much less. Wine stores do not generally tend to agree with me on this. Most stores only sell rot-gut for under $10. Not this place. In fact, they have an entire wall dedicated to highly regarded and reviewed, inexpensive wines under $10. This puts them on my short list of places to buy wine out here. Though they have a great selection of products from around the world, it's rare you'll find stuff on the shelves that's fresh. In the case of Belgian quads, imperial stouts and the like that's okay, but other brews should be consumed ASAP. They have a "secret" rack of out of code bottles and cans at clearance prices behind the new arrivals display. It's easy to miss, but worth looking at. As for the rest of the store, their inventory and selection is great. The left side of the store has a huge walk in cooler of all the major macro suds. On the other side is another cooler with the major craft brands. They always have the best craft mini displays over there too. Growler selection is about a dozen taps, all reasonably priced. They often have penny growler sales too. The occasional in-store tastings by brewery reps are nice. So basically Westmere Beverage is a perfect beer store... Just about. My only compliant other than the old bottles on the shelves would be the parking. Guilderland gave them a sidewalk (which they didn't have a choice about) and that eliminated a bunch of convenient spots right in front of the store. Lousy bureaucrats.
