Eufaula Cove Marina - 22 ft rental boat!!!

I wouldn't rate this place with something negative to the point of ridiculousness but we just…read morerented from there and had an ok to below average experience. The boats look nice enough but the one we ended up with was lacking some of the basic things I believe pontoons are supposed to have like fire extinguishers and flares. If they were there, we could not find them. We also couldn't find an anchor which made stopping for a quick swim or some fishing a little more challenging. The biggest issues we had were that a lot of the features on the boat console were unclear due to wear and tear on the buttons. Also, the ladder was likely missing a rung and it made it difficult for several of our riders to climb back into the boat. Again not a terrible boat nor a terrible staff. They were very friendly. I just wish that some of the little things were better.

We rented the 22 ft pontoon boat for 4 hours for a family outing. The day was absolutely amazing and the lake was in perfect condition. You will meet the nicest people in Oklahoma and this trip was no different. We will be back to eufaula again and most likely back to the marina. I only wish the restaurant next door was open because I would have loved a beer by the lake. Wish my friends Aaron a and nick l could have seen it rather than being at work.

What should have been a test and tune. over 3 months later this has not happened. I paid cash for what he was asking and have received almost nothing for it. Issue 1 - Terrible communication and questionable integrity. Issue 2 - They will tell you one thing then do nothing for weeks and you will have to .hound them. Issue 3 - March they were supposed to be getting the boat ready, do a test and tune etc.. Issue 4 - April ,The battery was being ran down and they couldn't find the problem. Starter was also dragging and would barely turn the engine over. Was told they would pay for and order a new starter and weeks went by and come to find out their order was cancelled by the supplier. I was not told until I confronted them. Waited 2 weeks more, nothing... So I took the boat to my house and found the issues, bought and installed a used starter, getting the boat to finally fire off. Issue 5 - 1st week of May I went to test the engine myself. Took the boat to the water and started the motor and almost instantly started knocking. Killed it and took it back to Zac. Water was in the 4 stroke motor oil. Was told they would take care of it and make it right. They came and got the boat at my house which is near them. They took it to a mechanic / their boat parking area near them. It has sat there over 2 weeks and when I confronted them again they said they were taking it to another guy in Indianola who could get to it. As of this week it still sits in the same place and hasn't moved. It is now May 25th and I'm still waiting ......90 days and counting... No communication for a week now....

The boat was misrepresented in several key ways -- including the engine, surf system components, upholstery, Bimini, and even the sound system, which was not in working order. Upon delivery, the boat was filthy and had not been detailed or cleaned as promised. It had also been towed with the tower down, causing damage to the tower, tower speakers, steering wheel, and window. We were told the boat "ran great," but when we put it on the water, that was not the case. Diagnostics later revealed mechanical problems that existed before the sale but were not disclosed. Communication and honesty throughout the process were very disappointing, and the level of misrepresentation left us feeling taken advantage of. I would caution anyone considering doing business with Nine Powersports to proceed carefully and independently verify all details before purchasing.

Now, bit of a back story... in-laws buy a used 22' pontoon boat from 150 in January 2019. Boat is in great shape! We finally get a chance this weekend to get it out on the water so we snatched the opportunity. 5 minutes after launching a warning buzzer starts going off. After troubleshooting for awhile we finally call Susie at 150 who initially tells me to bring it in but 2 mins later she calls back with word that Bud one if their mechanics is on his way to the dock. Yep, dock side service! #mindblown Bud shows up, diagnosed the water pump impeller and we loaded her up and headed to the shop. Mind you, they close at 2:00 PM and it's now 1:45 PM! We arrive and the two mechanics, including Bud, go right to work pulling the lower unit and replacing the impeller. Seriously?!?! My MIL, wife, daughter and friend all go inside for a party-like atmosphere with donuts and drinks and the lights and sound system on one of their brand new floor models in the showroom! At 2:24 PM we were on our way back to the marina to launch into a maiden voyage for my in-laws and family that was full of tubing fun, my FIL was so happy to be on the water and listening to the girls screaming and hollering while having the time of their lives! We ran the boat for about 4 hours and it never once hiccupped or had any issues! Great job 150! You guys are rock stars to me for the happiness you put into my family's weekend! Cheers! Steve Max

We have never been to the lake as a family or been camping. My kids are 18,12,10,8,and 6. We wanted to enjoy cooking over the fire pit on the 1st night. We struggled with maintaining a fire but really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds and our time outside of our cabin. I was happy to have cooking equipment and burners in the cabin because that ended up being how we had to cook since we are not good at making fires. We swam in the pool that night and it was a good size but nothing special. I wish they had slides or a diving board for the kids. The kids also enjoyed the blow up trampoline activity that was right outside our cabin. The air in our cabin was fantastic. It froze us which is pretty amazing in the July heat. The cabin was a good functional size for the 6 of us that stayed the night. ( My 18 year old only came to visit with us the 1st night and have dinner). I will note that they did not provide toilet paper or paper towels in the room, all we had was maybe 1/2 a roll of each or less that was possibly left by the last campers. Luckily we had brought each but they do sell items in their store. We spent a lot of our 2nd day on the lake. I was impressed that they have 2 Wibits, one for the bigger kids and adults and a smaller one in the more shallow water for the littler kids. Our favorite activity ended up being Kayaking. I was glad that they did not have an age restriction on this and allowed parents to make the choice on if their kids could go out alone or with a sibling. They did require everyone on the kayaks to wear a life jacket which they did provide. They had recently had a damaging storm and had only been reopened a week so I'm not sure if this is the usual but the beach area did not have any shades- it had poles by the beach chairs and looked like maybe they had covers before but I'm not sure how long they have not. Otherwise a nice beach area. The playground was not much of a play area and was a little disappointing as it only had a few swings, a climbing dome, tetherball and a metal ride on construction type car. In advertisements it shows that characters are out and about but we did not meet or see any Yogi Bear characters during our stay. I had also seen advertisements for foam parties and kids crafts/activities inside the building but I did not see anything like this happening during our stay. It's possible they had activities going on that we just didn't see inside but if so it was not announced. This was disappointing as I would have enjoyed taking pictures of the kids with the characters. Before we left the resort, We played a round of their mini golf. It was a fun time and the golf area is pretty but the holes themselves are not very playable. I'm not saying anyone in my family is a pro mini golfer, however, when we hit the golf balls they were going over and around the holes instead of in. It was like this on every hole. We were lucky to get it in in 6 hits on any of the holes which was a bit frustrating for the kids and made for a longer than normal game. Luckily for us the park was not busy at all while we were there, probably since it was through the week. It may have also been why the characters weren't out and the activities weren't going on. Overall we loved this trip and the kids and husband want to make it a new annual tradition.

Unfortunately, almost none of it was actually available or functioning. The putt putt course was completely ripped to shreds. The greens were torn up and there were ants all over the course. The "playground" was basically three old coin-operated riding machines like you'd see outside a grocery store -- rusty and clearly unsafe. Calling that a playground for kids is ridiculous and honestly feels like an accident waiting to happen. The heated splash pad? Doesn't exist here. The bounce pad was broken down and clearly not working. The full kitchen/restaurant wasn't open at all. The front office was locked up most of the day. They're also still advertising access to another nearby park, but we were told that promotion is outdated and no longer valid. Yet the ads are still out there bringing people in. Don't rush to push spring break marketing when you literally have nothing working. Yes, we got a refund, which we appreciate -- but that's about the only positive thing to say. It's a shame because we've loved other Yogi Bear Jellystone parks, but the owners of this one clearly don't care about maintaining it. Avoid this place.
