So, after 2 years of shock with all the junk builders throw on the ground, it was looking more raggedy than ever. We had our gardener try to trim it, but he just made it worse. Finally, we couldn't stand it, so my husband googled around and found Winthrop, who responded promptly. Jay came out and assessed the tree, found it healthy, gave us a very reasonable estimate for the trim and shipping. Came back a few days later and did the work with his very nice crew. No ruts in grass, No mess, fancy lift that was very safe for the trimmers. The tree looks great and we look forward to continue shaping this baby to health over many years to come! Higly recommend Winthrop Tree service

GO trimmed that tree, another grand oak, and a large oak, removed several large diseased trees and ground the stumps, and removed dead limbs on adjacent trees. GO's crew immaculately cleaned the site, and the boss confirmed that I was completely satisfied with the work. The work was done in a way that beautified the property. Great experience and value. Grateful to my neighbor for recommending the service, and I highly recommend them.

Luckily Jose was super accommodating and sent me tons of videos of his recommendations and he offered me a very reasonable price. Once I sent the Yelp request he responded within 12 hours and was able to stop by my house the next day to give me a full quote and was able to complete the project the following day so it took three days in total for my initial quote request. Not only did he take down the tree I needed taking down, but he also did a great job of removing a bunch of overgrowth and pruning my palm tree out front. He also had some recommendations for repairs to my fence and was able to connect me with someone that he's worked with before. If I ever need more work like this done in the future, I will definitely reach out to them!

I hired Pedro and his team earlier this year for monthly lawn care and bush maintenance at my home…read morein Charleston, but I ultimately had to cancel the service due to repeated poor quality work. Over time, the service became very minimal. Areas of the yard were left uncut, bushes were not properly maintained, edging was not being done, and there was very little weed eating under the backyard fence line. This allowed the neighbor's grass to grow into my yard. During one of the final visits, several areas of grass were left over a foot tall, which made it look like parts of the yard had not been cut at all. When I emailed Pedro to cancel and explained the issues, he did not ask any questions, offer to come inspect the yard, apologize, or try to make it right. He simply acknowledged the cancellation. He later billed me for May, which was the same month I cancelled due to the poor service and the yard not being properly maintained. When I questioned the invoice, he insisted that the balance was still owed and stated that they provide "high quality work." In my experience, that was not the case. The work performed on my property felt rushed and incomplete, and the response after I raised my concerns was disappointing. I would not recommend this company based on the quality of service I received and the lack of accountability when problems were brought to their attention.
