The day of her appointment, the doctor stated that the labs were not in the office nor were the radiology results. My mother told the doctor that his staff confirmed that the results were already in the office, she didn't understand why they would say yes when confirming the appointment. At this point, she had basically lost her appointment. Delfa told my mother she never told her yes. She also told my mother that she could continue to wait or she could go home since she was in pain. Once the results were received by his office, he would call her to place her on her treatment. My mother went to her pharmacy to look for any medication that the doctor perhaps had prescribed and the pharmacist told her that the doctor did not place any medication. Unfortunately on December 26, my mother had a horrendous crisis and had no medication ordered still nor any sort of crisis plan. I called the office, but it was close. I therefore left a message with his answering service, requesting for the doctor to call me back. It is January 20, 2021, and I am still waiting for the phone call from the physician. The only person that has called has been a "nurse" by the name of Yvonne with a nasty attitude and everything that she will say during the whole conversation is I have no knowledge. If you care about your loved ones, I highly recommend for you to run away from this office as fast as you can and never look back. Thankfully, my mother was able to find another rheumatologist that was able to get her on a crisis plan, get her the medication she desperately needed and help her manage with her illness.

I had two sessions in May 2025: one for 2 bilateral segments and another for 3 bilateral segments, all using dextrose solution. The prolotherapy injections completely took away my neck pain, after the first 1-2 weeks of having slightly increased pain, which Dr. Mahl had warned me about prior to the procedure. I had some issues with the bills being clear after the fact with the administrative side of the office. But when Dr. Mahl was made aware of the issue, he was able to clear it up and apologized for any confusion. Prolotherapy is the reason that my neck pain went away and it could help you too. Just make sure you have a clear explination of what the full cost of the treatments will be before you agree to receive treatment so you avoid any issues with the bill.
