My pet baby was being treated for over a month with Hemotoma ear. I called after two visits of her not getting better to be seen. I was told they had no appointments. No problem. I took her to the emergency vet. A week later her ear bust. I came home to my dog with a bloody ear and blood all over my home. I called the vet to see if they could see her. I was told they are about to close. Mind you it was 3:30 and I live 5 min away. I asked to please ask the vet if they could see her. The receptionist replied that the vet stated they had other appointments. Off to the emergency vet I go again. I am in complete disbelief. This place is never full. I have an appointment today with a new vet who was very gracious to see her. Sorry Helen. Your response is incorrect. My husband has never been there. You are not accommodating.

We love this place. Very fair pricing, friendly staff. Totally worth the drive from winter garden for us. Some places we called and visited were so astronomically priced, its nice to find a place with more affordable services! We'd recommend for any budgeted dog owners who don't want to skimp in cautious, quality service by highly trained professionals. Don't mistake my review as meaning "budget"=subpar service...that couldn't be FARTHER from the truth! They are so careful and really take the time to listen to our concerns. Being a new dog owner we have so many!

It was my first time at a clinic with my cat and I was so nervous because my cat is not a people person. But the minute I brought her in to get checked she got along with all the staff very well and they took great care of her. I will definitely be coming back for her to get her checkups because of how amazing the service was

I accidentally become a first time cat owner 2 days ago after adopting a cat that was given away by her owner because "they were done breeding her". Knowing nothing about cats and having no paperworks, i panick when i felt that her mammary glands were swollen. Google told me it was Mastitis. So the next day i found this vet clinic that was closest to home. They usually only accept appointments but after hearing about my situation, the nice receptionist & Dr. Liao continue to see me. Everyone was extremely kind & answer any questions i have. The wait was a little long but I didn't mind because i was just grateful they decided to see me so last minute. The receptionist also check up on me often to make sure that that we're fine & aren't forgotten. For the people that are complaining about the time, they need to understand that "the patients can't tell the vet where their boo-boos are" so it will take some time. The appointment running late just means that the vet is being thorough. I would definitely recommend this location to other pet owners.

I had originally brought my boy to a different emergency vet and they did everything wrong, but I didn't know it until my pup was getting worse (much worse) within a couple days. I brought him to Dr. Hassan and he very quickly made a turn for the better. And when that same dog had a stroke a year ago, Doc did everything right. Dr. Hassan gave me 2.5 more active, healthy years with my pup than I otherwise would have had. How do I quantify what that means to me? I can't. The entire staff is incredible. They truly do care. My dog died in July. He was up at my parents' house in Georgia for a visit (their dog and mine were besties). He was fine when I left, but a few days later he was not at all fine. I called Dr. Hassan and even though I couldn't bring Floyd () in since he was out of state, after telling them what was going on with him, Dr. prescribed meds for him as a last-ditch effort. They filled them on site, I picked them up, and made a mad dash to get to him. It was too late by the time I got to him because I couldn't get the meds in him and he died just a few hours later (so the meds would not have helped at that point anyway), but just the fact that they gave me the opportunity to try means the world to me.

Very distressing experience during an already difficult time…read more Our dog passed away, and we clearly stated--multiple times to at least three different staff members--that only our dog and a small photograph were to be cremated. Each time, we were told "okay" and understood. However, we were later informed that the bed and blankets had also been cremated--without our authorization. When we went to pick up our dog's belongings, before we said anything, a staff member stated that we had requested this, which is not accurate. All we want is to receive all of our dog's cremated remains. If additional items were cremated with her, we expect all resulting ashes to be returned to us in full. This situation reflects a serious breakdown in communication and documentation, and it has been deeply upsetting for our family.

They go above and beyond to make both pets (and pet parents) comfortable. While a flower delivery and sympathy card weren't on our mind from the vet, that's just a single example of the thought that is behind everything they do. They truly are a class act and perfect example of compassionate service in Orlando. I send all of my friends here when they're in the market for a new vet. Not only are the doctors kind and thorough, but the techs and front desk staff are what really make the difference. They get to know you and your pet and are always rooting for your furry companions. I fully believe they are a large reason why my girls have lived so long - they do routine bloodwork and have caught so many underlying issues throughout the last 6 years between the 2 of our girls (high blood pressure, hyperthyroid, all the things you don't think of for a cat). We've shed a lot of tears in Garden Vet recently, and I want to thank the whole team for taking such good care of Darla and us. Grief is not linear, and can be absolutely overwhelming. During a visit for my 11-year-old dog, I was by Dr. MacDonald that my dog has liver cancer with multiple tumors, congestive heart failure and that euthanasia should be considered. No biopsy or referral to a specialist was offered and I was not shown or walked through the ultrasound results. I was told no follow-up appointments were needed and was given euthanasia pamphlets. I left completely devastated. After the visit, I called the clinic requesting my dog's records. Because the file is under another name, communication had to go through that person. When we received the records, they did not mention cancer or the ultrasound findings. We were initially told the ultrasound recordings were not available. I had to request the records again through email and specifically ask for the ultrasound findings. Eventually, we received notes referencing a "suspected" liver or splenic mass and stating that my dog was vomiting which was not true. The notes also mentioned seeing a specialist if interested but this was never discussed during the visit. I also had major difficulties with my dog's heart medication. I was told that refills typically take 24 to 48 hours and that heart medications are usually expedited. Since refills cannot be processed over the weekend, we had to wait until Monday to call. We emphasized that this was a heart-related medication, were told the request would be expedited and submitted the request on 12/22 around 8:15 a.m. It took two days and a call from the office /practice manager before we could pick up her medication on Christmas Eve. Because of the delay, we had to go to VEG to get my dog's medication and she was in distress. Since starting the treatment plan we had to request because we did not agree to euthanasia, my dog has been doing great. She is eating, drinking, playing and going to the bathroom normally. We were referred to an internal medicine specialist and a cardiologist by another vet for a second opinion. The internal medicine specialist confirmed that my dog does NOT have cancer and walked us through each ultrasound finding step by step. We also have an upcoming appointment with the cardiologist. Our experience highlighted serious concerns. The first suggestion was euthanasia rather than further investigation. No referrals or second opinions were offered. Communication around records and critical medication was slow and inconsistent. While the staff may have had good intentions, this experience has been distressing and costly. My dog is doing well thanks to proper follow-up care but I hope the clinic takes steps to prevent similar situations for other pet owners.
