We have previously brought our other senior dogs here, but since they have all passed we have now adopted new puppies in our house. We had our first appointment with one puppy on Monday and one today. We have always found the staff and Dr. Liao to be friendly, understanding, and very communicative. They share the costs and details of what will happen and answer all questions that you have. They are patient with you and your animals so please be patient if your appointments are running behind. They are working to make sure everyone is healthy and all information is understood. They are very reasonable with their pricing and up front with the expectations. read more

My pet baby was being treated for over a month with Hemotoma ear. I called after two visits of her not getting better to be seen. I was told they had no appointments. No problem. I took her to the emergency vet. A week later her ear bust. I came home to my dog with a bloody ear and blood all over my home. I called the vet to see if they could see her. I was told they are about to close. Mind you it was 3:30 and I live 5 min away. I asked to please ask the vet if they could see her. The receptionist replied that the vet stated they had other appointments. Off to the emergency vet I go again. I am in complete disbelief. This place is never full. I have an appointment today with a new vet who was very gracious to see her. Sorry Helen. Your response is incorrect. My husband has never been there. You are not accommodating. read more

She then said her practice is unfamiliar with my pets condition which then just lead me to lose confidence in the practice entirely. This vet has great reviews. I have gone to them for 3 to 5 months. But you need to know that the vet has some issues with prescriptions that you need for your kitties. I ordered a 90 day supply of the medication. From Canada. I need it for my cat from Canada. Bladder issues. The cat refused to take the capsules. I offered to bring the entire 90 day supply in to show the vet that I am not giving them to my cat and she waste them in front of the vet and witnesses, so she could write a new prescription, she refuses to write a new prescription, because she gave me a three month supply prescription, which my cat will not take. I offered to donate them, and have them use them for trial packs for her pet patients if she choses. She refused that also. I said she was going to lose me with both of the cats I have, they said that is fine that she would not write me a new prescription for my cats. urinary problem. This seems very ridiculous, and rather lack of insight for the long-term health of the cat. I've never run into this before. With a vet. I am a professional nurse. So I know how these things are handled. All I can assume is that she does not want to work with me and my cats. So sad I liked them except for this issue. read more

If you love your pets, do not go to this place. From the minute we stepped into Care plus veterinary, we were ignored, they didn't acknowledge or say, "hello" even though we were the only ones there. After some time, we were asked to go into another room. They took one of our dogs away from us, no explanation and wouldn't let us watch over him. We sat in this room for over an hour. Only to be told they wanted to add on fees unnecessarily to treat our dogs. My husband asked calmly, questions. As to why they wanted to add fees. They kept repeating over and over saying, "It's our policy." Even though the policy had nothing to do with our request or needs. The veterinarian yelled at us, told us that she can change this policy since she is the owner, but she doesn't want to because she felt our attitudes were not to her liking, and she said, "Call me tomorrow with a better attitude and maybe I'll make a concession." I couldn't believe what she was saying to us, we are customers, bringing our business to her, and yet we being treated like this?! All because we asked why we would be charged for something that we didn't need?! I do not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a professional, caring veterinarian. read more

I accidentally become a first time cat owner 2 days ago after adopting a cat that was given away by her owner because "they were done breeding her". Knowing nothing about cats and having no paperworks, i panick when i felt that her mammary glands were swollen. Google told me it was Mastitis. So the next day i found this vet clinic that was closest to home. They usually only accept appointments but after hearing about my situation, the nice receptionist & Dr. Liao continue to see me. Everyone was extremely kind & answer any questions i have. The wait was a little long but I didn't mind because i was just grateful they decided to see me so last minute. The receptionist also check up on me often to make sure that that we're fine & aren't forgotten. For the people that are complaining about the time, they need to understand that "the patients can't tell the vet where their boo-boos are" so it will take some time. The appointment running late just means that the vet is being thorough. I would definitely recommend this location to other pet owners. read more

This is the best vet clinic around! First, it's obvious that all of the employees have a great love for animals - which they should, of course, but some places don't give me the warm fuzzies. Not just that, but they all have great customer service personalities - very friendly! It's really nice that they have packages for the yearly checkups for the animals - packages that include exams, vaccines, etc. You know exactly how much you'll be paying each time you go in, reasonable prices, and you're never surprised with a huge bill at the end. Found a mammary gland tumor last August. Was concerned since dog was a rescue, spayed when she was 2 -3 and had at least one litter. Dr. Liao didn't seem too concerned, just observe and gave antibiotic.Three weeks dog was seen for a second flu shot, mass checked but never suggested removing it to know what the dog now had. Mammary gland tumors can be 50% benign or malignant. Took her to another Vet in March, returned in April and Vet found a new growth on opposite side. These tumors are attached to the skin and lobular. It would appear she has malignant tumors and because she also has Cushing's disease doesn't have a future. Upsetting to me how this Vet can ignore serious problems, not advise me or refer me to other Vets if she doesn't want to treat this poor dog . So sad, especially when other canine owners think she is so sweet. read more

Aside from my appointment being at 9:30AM, and not leaving the office till 11:15AM (the women at the front promised me this was not normal) the staff and vet were amazing. They were very kind and the vet actually also owns a Boston Terrier! She answered all my questions and got my fur baby started on some antibiotics for his skin. They were very open about pricing and let me know the cost of everything I added on before doing it. Hopefully next time I'm in and out a little faster-but I will plan my morning more accordingly to accommodate. read more

Agreed as the others say, the staff is very friendly upon entering and apologetic when leaving an hour and half after my appointment. I don't understand why they don't do some preparations before the appointment. After I check in is when they check to see what vaccines were due. They couldn't read the transfer papers so had to call the other vet while we waited. Of course put on hold etc. Once finally in exam room we were "forgotten" for about 30 minutes. All the while I can hear staff talking and laughing outside the door. Trying to keep my dog calm and relaxed. Finally I stepped and asked if anyone was going to see us and two minutes later the tech came in with an assistant. She told me she couldn't read the papers. I had to tell her the receptionist called already and wrote it down. I had to show her where it was written. After the exam I was told just a minute while they prepared the vaccines. It was about 5-6 minutes which I know from experience it doesn't take that long or shouldn't unless they don't know where the things are. After finished with the vaccines the assistant said just another minute to get the rabies certificate. I waited a few more minutes and walked out of the room to the desk. There she was still looking for it. I paid the $300+ and made it just in time to pick up my kids from school. read more

Dr. Liao is amazing! I have a 17 yo cat and a 2 yo cat and neither like the vet, the doctor got down on the floor and talked right to the cats and was excellent with them. She didn't push extra medications like many vets do and was just concerned that my older cat is comfortable and happy as he is. I will definitely be going back. read more

I took my 2 dogs for vet care and they were seen and evaluated with care. Several mos later I brought them back to be boarded. When I returned after the weekend to pick them up one was bleeding from the rectum each time she went to do her business. The other had all sorts of stickies which she did not have upon being dropped off. I was told the bleeding was due to anxiety or stress just keep an eye on it. Then I took them to be groomed and that same one was found to have fleas. No one ever called to ask how she was doing. The day after my other girl started vomiting bile like substance. I am VERY disappointed with the care they received. Will NOT take them there again. read more
