When I opened Carefree Carpets and Interiors in 1999, I opened as just a flooring shop. I started replacing flooring in holiday rental apartments and very quickly saw the need for other products. I did basic curtains, furniture, pictures and kitchen items. I was hooked, I loved it. My journey had begun. I feel in love with fabrics and colours. Something ordinary could become extraordinary. I decided late last year to open a new shop at the Q Super Centre Mermaid Waters, I'm still finding my feet and working out which direction to go in, what I do know is the fabrics and colours are beautiful as ever.
My clients laugh at me when I say I love vertical blinds, but for practicality they are a winner.The materials and colour choices are amazing. Sewn in weights mean the end of the tangled plastic cords that we all hated. Panel glides are a beautiful new option on large doors and windows, I know I keep saying it, but the materials and patterns are beautiful. Why not love your window treatments.
