Update: The clinic just actively admitted in their response that Nurse Practitioners and assistants performed my surgery, not a medical doctor. They are blaming my natural hair texture to hide their completely untrained work and the severe physical complications I suffered. 1 star. Please read this before choosing Care4Hair. I flew from California to Miami for what I expected to be a professional hair transplant. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. During my 10-hour surgery, Yaimel Perez, an FNP/APRN rather than an MD, left the operating room during the implantation phase, which was then performed entirely by technicians whose qualifications were never clearly explained to me. The following day, during the mandatory post-op wash, a staff member aggressively pressed on my one-day-old grafts, causing severe pain and bleeding. I had to return to the clinic, and the bleeding continued. Since the clinic was closed the next day, I had to fly back to California with an injured, bleeding scalp. I also repeatedly complained about poor growth and unnatural angles, but was told to "wait 1.5 years." I did. Now, 1.5 years later, the result is extremely poor. I was told approximately 3,000 grafts were implanted, yet the density is nowhere near what I expected. My existing thinning areas were also largely ignored despite specifically asking them to fill those zones. I was left with patchy areas behind a rigid, unnatural hairline, with inconsistent graft angles that make the hair very difficult to style. I was introduced to care4hair Miami by a prior client that I work with. i called them up and sent in pictures and was immediately assured they could provide me with the results I was interested in .That should have been my first clue how horrible this place would be as I would learn later this place is just a hairmill and only interested in separating you from your money. I arrived to find 20-30 men sitting around the lobby in various stages of their operation eating , reading and conversing with bloody bandages wrapped around their heads which immediately made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. i was then brought back to sign paperwork which is close to the equivalent of signing for a car and was my second mistake. Its also by no mistake that those papers are signed before you ever meet with any kind of official DR or anybody that can provide you with an accurate answer other than what was told to me over the phone The reason for this is now they got you And once those papers are signed you can't back out without losing money . In my case the dr I met with after explained that my hair was to thin , I didn't have a good donor area and my results would be nothing like what I was told over the phone but they wouldn't know for sure until I was already into surgery. I immediately felt uncomfortable and decided to back out and I asked for a refund and left. Here's were those papers you sign comes into play . Hiding in all that paperwork is they're Refund policy which works out really well for them . You are charged $1000 if you cancel within a period of time relating to when your surgery will begin and by the way you refund will take exactly 30 days to get back to you Minus the $1000. So here's the takeaway first find a clinic that actually wants to work with you and be honest about the results and pls don't give them any money , read everything and speak to someone first before you sign anything at all . I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Care4Hair. I came in for an evaluation, completed bloodwork, and was told I was a good candidate for a hair transplant. After following their instructions for several weeks--including buying expensive scalp treatments they recommended--I paid a $5,000 deposit and was given a surgery date. The night before, I followed their directions to take prescribed Valium. When I arrived the next morning, two staff members appeared very uncertain and kept going back and forth in Spanish about my condition. They had me take more Valium, shaved my head, and then suddenly told me I was not a candidate for the procedure because of minor scalp issues--despite having already reviewed my photos and cleared me. They canceled the surgery on the spot after medicating me and shaving my head. I was left extremely uncomfortable and needed a friend to come help me afterward. The next day, they told me I would receive a full refund. It has now been four months, and despite numerous calls and messages, I have not received any refund. This has been an awful and unprofessional experience from start to finish. I strongly encourage anyone considering this clinic to do thorough research and be extremely cautious. There is a complete lack of professionalism, the manager, someone called Yahumara hides from patients who speak English and you are not able to see her at all. I statred with them telling me how many hair gaft I would need charging a $ 250 promotion that will go towards $5,400 of your surgery if I signed up right away. I told them I couldnt so they told me to sign up for Cherry which is their finance partner. Got approved for $2500 so decided to say yes to everything and they had me sign the patient forms. Once I singed the patient forms that apparently (consented me to loose the 250 if I cancelled) then they said well Cherry is separate finance for us so you cant use it towards your special price of the surgery because its a promotion. IF you choose to use cherry then we can't give you price of 5400, you will have to pay full price of $6800 if you wanted to apply the 2500 credit. THE ONLY REASON I AGREED TO ALL THIS AND THE SPECIAL PRICE WAS TO BE ABLE TO APPLY THE 2500. They are scheming you into applying for the deal then telling you to apply for credit just to telll you cant use this. Mind you I have recorded these conversations and will be taking legal action. I regret coming to this place. I traveled from Pennsylvania. The entire process and care was horrible! I was scheduled for 3PM did not get attended until 5PM! I didn't get out until 10PM!!! I am back for a follow up procedure (I paid with the first procedure) and the "doctor" decided to go home early! I'm sitting here being told it was my fault and I needed to calm down. This is CRAZY! I was beyond understanding the first mistake, but every single encounter with this office has been a nightmare and disaster. I had the hair transplant procedure done three days ago and so far I'm very satisfied with the service I received. I will not mention one name in particular because the entire team was very professional and friendly. During the entire time, they kept talking and joking a bit, which really helped me to relax with such a long procedure. So far, I am very happy with the results and the discomfort is not so bad. I have to sleep with a travel pillow, which is killing my neck, but hey! that's a fair price to pay to have my hair back! No regrets! I went for a follow up the next day to have the bandage removed from the donor area, and I received the same professional care and advice like the day before. I am due for a follow up after 7 days. I would not utilize or recommend this facility !!!! I was scheduled for a hair transplant in Oct. 2023. I sent all required photos, deposits and was scheduled to move forth. My procedure date was 2 weeks out so, I booked flights, hotels, and rental car. I was then called a few days later and told I was no longer a candidate. I was now going to lose out on the money for fight, hotels, and rental car. So I voiced my concern and Care4hair said they would relook at my case and asked for additional pictures. I provided new pictures and waited for feedback. I was then called back and informed that after looking at my new pictures and I WAS a candidate and the procedure would be a go. However, I was told my procedure date changed which required me to change flights, rental car, and hotels which cost me additional monies. With that being said, I flew to Miami from Texas, 2 days before the procedure. I showed up for my pre-op appointment where I was told "sorry but you are NOT a candidate for the procedure". I was then walked to the lobby, told to go online and request a refund of my deposit and have a nice day. So needless to say I am out over $1000 dollars and I all I received was I'm sorry, have a great day! The staff is very friendly however, the staff/doctor that approved my procedure should be held accountable. The staff was very eager to answer my emails and call me back ASAP prior to procedure but once I was turned away and tried to express my concerns and try to get my deposit back, they have GHOSTED me. No one returned emails or calls. I finally received a call about 3 weeks later informing me they were going to processing my refund which would take about 20-25 days, which is ridiculous. I dealt with Josepha Barrios, very nice and attentive UNTIL deposit was made then NOTHING! Once my deposit was made I dealt with Lianetxis Sexto, same thing. I contacted care4hair for the hair transplant procedure. I was asked to send pictures of my head areas of the hair loss and base on the pictures I was told I need a transplant 3000 folicules in which I agree sign paper work online docusign. When went to clinic for preoperative orientation and they draw blood of me for the PRP. After the lab I was asked to see the Doctor in which I believed she's a nurse not a Doctor. She told me the most we can do was 2000 follicles and they made a mistake from the pictures I send them there fore the change. I decide not to continue with the procedure base on what she told me and then later I asked for the refund of $2000.00 but there was a cancelation fee of $500.00 for cancellating the procedure. My beleive is I shouldn't pay the $500.00 cancellation fee because I decide not to continue with the procedure of what the Doctor told me. To me the change from 3000 to 2000 folicules after we signed paper work is a breach of contract. My suggestion to other is don't put any money down with Care4hair unless they personally see you they keep a lo of money for not doing the procedure read more
