As someone who has very difficult feet to shop for (women's double wide, high arch, high instep, shin splint prone) I am used to feeling defeated while shoe shopping. This family business has a wealth of knowledge and it was easily the best experience I've ever had in a shoe store. The person who helped us was 5th generation in this shoe business family & he was so kind and knew tons about shoe biomechanics. He found exactly what I needed to be comfortable and avoid shin splints while training. They also had tons of wide selections in store--no need to wait & have them order them like most shops. I never thought I'd write a shoe store review, but I had to after such a fantastic experience at Family Shoe Store! thank you!

This warehouse is filled with two-stories of second-hand goodies from the island. You'll find a large selection of kitchen gear, board games, winter items, and lightly-used treasures. They've done a great job separating each of the spaces, making individualized rooms and isles to showcase different categories of goods. There's a large space upstairs for all their outdoor and sports gear. I even saw a number of skis, boots, poles, and jackets that instantly caught my attention! The team here is incredibly kind and will help you hunt through their many isles for the perfect find.
