That parking pass is then good for all the Waukesha County parks. I have used the large and small dog off-leash areas, the open field, the rest areas, but mostly the wonderful trails all through the woods. Today, my sister and our two dogs did the long hike all around the area, a nice way to stretch our legs with easy and slightly harder terrain. Nothing to worry about, but in the end, we put on a few miles and enjoyed a full drink of water at the end. There are drinking fountains for both human and animal use (separate spigots.) The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, not port-a-potties. Park your car in one of the two parking lots, take a look at the map and find the colored trail(s) you want to hike and set out. The trails are never really crowded, and you will meet other people and pets along the way. Dogs are to be on leash at all times, and be sure to take poop bags with you; there are some available at each parking area in case you forget your own. There are few garbage cans along the trails so prepare to carry it out with you. We trek here all year long and enjoy the changing seasons as well as the quiet even with roads all around us. This is a nice place to just get away. There are areas marked as environmentally sensitive, so stay on the trails and you will have a wonderful time out in nature.

There were a nice amount of dogs to hang with. We did a couple of laps around the outside then headed to the trails. The yellow trail is just over 3 miles. It's about half shade and half sun. The shade parts through the woods were covered with mulch. The nature area had grass and tons of wild flowers. The trails were nice and wide for easy passing. There are some lakes along the way but they are hard to see through the foliage. We bought a day pass which required a whole process of setting up an account and such. There really should be a quick option to just be a guest for the day. There isn't great reception but my husband was able to get it to work scanning the QR code. Would definitely come back here. Very nice park.

Although I am quite sure I did a horrible job explaining it, Kim completely understood the vibe I was going for and had some wonderful ideas about how to make the different elements of our wedding design feel cohesive. When we had to postpone our original wedding plans due to COVID-19 pandemic, Kim was so supportive and helpful. Then, when we decided to reimagine our wedding day with a smaller ceremony Kim made it so beautiful! She was so flexible as our plans kept changing (trying to figure out how to celebrate love during a pandemic can be tricky!). Our flowers were so amazing I didn't want to send them away to be preserved! Kim was a joy to work with and she is so wonderful at what she does, I cannot recommend A Cottage Gardener enough!

We stuck to the White Trail, which makes a nice loop back to the parking lot. The trail is easy to access, well-marked, and mostly gentle, making it a great option for a leisurely stroll or a family outing. The scenery was absolutely stunning--so many trees showing vibrant autumn colors, and plenty of spots to stop and take it all in. We especially appreciated how peaceful and quiet the trail was, even on a beautiful fall day. Perfect for a short hike if you're passing through the area, or for anyone looking to enjoy some seasonal nature without tackling anything too strenuous. Highly recommend checking it out if you're nearby!

I reached out to Penguin Pools as I need our liner replaced. I was sent a quote with a contract to…read morebe sent back along with 60% of the quoted price and 3 liner design choices as materials were going in and out of stock almost daily. I signed the contract, sent a check for almost $4,000 as well as 3 liner choices on 5/12. I received an email that my pool would be opened the week of the 24th and the tech would be measuring the liner at that time to order the new one. I reached out to find out if I was able to find the exact date as I did not want to leave my gate unlocked for a week and I was told they would notify me a day prior to their arrival. Thursday the 27th late afternoon I reached out as I had not heard back and received an email the morning of the 28th stating that due to staff shortages and weather (weather had not been bad) they were behind but were hoping for Friday or Saturday. I expressed my concern was more about getting the liner measured and ordered and they assured me it would be measured at time of opening and they would be there that day. The tech did in fact show up and was very pleasant but advised me that he was unable to measure due to the pool not being clear. I would think when they scheduled this, they should be aware that pools are not clean at opening after being closed all winter. In years past, when I've had my pool opened, the tech brushes down the liner and hot tub, chlorine is in the tube, the skimmer is set correctly, the overflow spa is correctly operating. None of these things occurred on top of the liner not being measured. I reached out on June 1st with my concerns and was told the pool needs to be clear to measure. Although that is all logical to me, why was it not scheduled differently as they should know this if they are in the pool business. I was advised to send pictures and they would get me scheduled. I immediately sent photos and requested to be scheduled asap to get the liner ordered as it is a month wait for the liner and materials are what they are. I expressed I was concerned about the install due to the misinformation up to this point and have yet to hear back. I emailed them in the morning 6/4/21 requesting to just have my money refunded minus the pool opening since they could not have the courtesy to respond to my concerns or schedule the lining measurement, still no response. It appears once they have your money, they do not feel the need to do much beyond the minimal. I can understand if they are short staffed or busy but how hard is it to reply to an email? If I received an email, even if late in the evening I could respect that but nothing. Unfortunate that a company doesn't care about their customers. I will be contacting my attorney to get my money back and work with a company that values their customers. Very frustrated to say the least.
