I had my MoT done here in early 2008 having found out about it at http://www.moneysavingexpert.co.uk . Without doubt this was the best experience I've yet had when it comes to having work or an MoT done on my car. As this is not a private concern they are not looking to make money from you and therefore all you get is the MoT. Which was done efficiently and with a helpfulness I just haven't found at other garages. The location of the garage is also a bonus as it is a short walk from the City Centre, so making it easy to pass the time while you wait for the MoT to be completed. The only minus point is the garage can be a little hard to find at first, but that really is the worst thing I can think to say about this place. It also should be noted that this is a place of work, you won't find a smiling receptionist behind a PC or smart waiting area with coffee machine; it is all very basic. I would HIGHLY recommend them as a place for MOTs for private vehicles. They don't do repairs, so you get an honest assessment of your vehicle. Easy to book, friendly, courteous, and they now have a smiling receptionist and a waiting area and a coffee machine (see previous review). I can't recommend them highly enough.
