I love football, traveling and Yelping so I am today pleased to combine the three for my 1100th review. The stadium is quite interesting with its' location, it is right in the city centre of Cardiff, which is a rather unusual and uncommon approach with football stadiums in large cities, which normally tend to be a few miles out, this means that traffic going in and out of the stadium on a match-day might be troublesome on the best of times. The stadium here was really cool, and was modern in most ways, I really liked the inside seating and the whole look of it, even with a retractable roof, the tour was quite cool, it was a decent sized group and I learned some cool stuff about the stadium, which is set to host the Champions League Final in May/Jun 2017, meanwhile the likes of Leicester City versus FC Porto are playing right now in the Champions League as I write this review, with teams dreaming to reach here come the end of the season. The dressing rooms were not as welcoming, they were average and certainly not as nice as I have seen at other major stadiums such as Wembley and The Etihad. The tour also lost that spark, magic, because the pitch had been pulled up to make way for concrete to hold a massive dinner, which was a cool idea in practice, but along with the roof-up, it made the stadium feel dark, and more like a concert hall rather than a stadium, which ruined the atmosphere in ways. As mentioned above, the tour guide was friendly, as he was an Arsenal supporter we shared a few jokes about football, myself supporting Manchester City. The stadium store is quite poor, with multiple really old fashioned, inaccesiable lifts and it is hard to move around and start the store, which is a huge let-down for a store meant to serve the leading stadium for both football and rugby, hence all sporting events in Wales. Overall, this is a nice, cool, new(ish) stadium but still there are some issues with my visit, which need to be ironed out such as improving the modern feeling of this store, the tour experience. I feel this stadium in general deserves three stars.

I long for Britney Spears to come and sing here. I've seen her in London, but it is not the same as it would be to be able to see her here. I really enjoyed the Boy Zone concert it was amazing, they were on roller skates and they performed scenes from the Movie Grease. This was back in their early years. It ended with fireworks and started with fireworks. Spectacular! I saw Busted there as well that was another awesome concert! I'd never had such fun in a long while, before I had been to that concert. I didn't even really care about how loud it all was, which I often do. I recommend it for all; especially teenagers, the older the better I feel. It's near Cineworld cinema, in the town centre.

This is a really good arena. I've never been to it to see any sports (I don't even know if they do…read moredo sports there - sometimes places really surprise you and you realise that they have an ice rink under the floor and things!) but only music. It's a fantastic venue to see a concert. There is always a really atmosphere - and although part of that will obviously be my own excitement, a bad venue can hinder a gig. There's a good amount of seating and of standing room and the prices are always reasonable. I just wish there were more loos! That's always the problem!

ONLY JOKING. I am speaking the truth when I say I'm not a big fan of cricket but I'd be off my head not to say no. Why? Because The Ashes (a test cricket series played between England and Australia) is one of international cricket's most celebrated rivalries and dates back to 1882 and has never been played in Cardiff before. Anyway i had to drive someone in the morning and it was tipping down with rain - so i thought the game will obviously be called off. But i got to Cardiff and Sophia Garden seemed to be existing in its very own sun bubble. We went into the Swalec Stadium (just been refurbed at a price of £9.6m) watched the game, with the sun blanketing us all day - in between popping out to the bar for a few refreshments and had an absolute cracking day. There was friendly rivalry and banter between us and the Ozzies plus we won! You don't need to be a cricket fan to watch a game - there are plenty of breaks in the play to pop out and grab a bite to eat / drink. The best way to think of it is as a relaxing day out with a couple of mates eating and drinking to your hearts content whilst a game of cricket is played in front of you.

This is still a very new stadium so its a bit lacking in history and charm, but its very functional and has lots of space and toilets and some really good food outlets. There's not too much more I can say about the place. I'd defiantly recommend everyone gives it ago and support Glamorgan (they need all the support they can get). Went days without pay and he would sometimes not even turn up to work on the days that we was suppose to get payed to use that as an excused. The conditions on the building is borderline illegal. "Black mould" As a bartender I've never sold mould in peoples drinks before but the orange juice and cranberry juice are all left in a mouldy place in the club and it happened multiple times. People would always complain about having mould in their drinks. Long story short me and Pete had a disagreement on the way he was conducting business with us and not giving us our pay the times. I will say he would say he did always end up giving us our money but it would only be on his terms. In this exchange of words me and Pete had, He told me he would not be undermined by someone like me. THATS THR WAY HE TREATS HIS STAFF. He stopped calling us in and then later removed me from the group chat because he didn't like that someone spoke up to him. The whole time I worked for him I was always ill and I think it is due to the building being full of mould and let's not even talk about the roof nearly falling down Each to their own on what you make of this, but if you've ever stepped foot in this place you know exactly what I'm saying is just the facts of the matter and I would never of turned to writing this. If my boss had the decency to phone me and actually talk to me on the phone or in person. Rather than going about it in the completely wrong way. I booked with the manager Peter what he led me to believe as disabled parking, I parked where I was instructed to by him and him staff and a week later received a parking charge through the door. I challenged Peter about this who quite frankly didn't care, the only thing he wanted to talk about was this argument with the guy next door who having spoke to him is a decent person! He explained that Peter is constantly instructing people to park on his land and it's ruining his business as there's been a lot of damage caused by visitors to vale sports arena and implemented the parking charges due to this. Peter of vale sports arena knows of this but still instructs people to park as a way of aggravating him. So be very carefull and do not trust this guy as his only interest appears to be to try and cause problems for the guy next door! What a way to treat disabled people

It's played host to so many events from concerts to international volleyball competitions to the start and end of various charity runs. This still happens and will continue to. Most recently the international food fair was here - I had some deliciously huge prawns cooked in garlic and parsley which I can't recommend enough unless you're not a shellfish lover. Even if you're not a big fan crowds then its still worth a visit here night or day when there aren't any events on. In the day there is a steady stream of people to watch plus a 70 foot high metallic water tower which kids love to put their head in. Whilst in the evening, the plass has a different more romantic feel to it, with the 18 fifty foot high pillars that surround it, being illuminated. Like a human without its lungs the bay wouldn't thrive as it does.

It has…read moredisplayed football matches when they put up a big screen for the crowd to enjoy as you can see from the photo I uploaded. It can get extremely busy filled with people from everywhere just wanting to enjoy their day out. It has the infamous 'Torchwood' building that has water running down it and you will not be able to resist the urge to either go and have a photo taken by it or touch it for that water to go down your arm. I have enjoyed many events including food festivals where there are giant gazebo's filled with food from all over wales including cheese, honey and all other things from the Welsh country. It has hosted some sports games with the last one being a Cardiff City match that the placed on the big screen, to say it was busy is an understatement. Even when it doesn't hold events it's a nice area to sit down or walk through. There are often skateboarders and bikers down there practicing. I think this is an excellent area to have outdoor events. I do however wish they had one thing that would make Cardiff Bay great. If they had a bonfire night on November 5th launching fireworks from the middle of the oval I believe it would bring thousands of people in. Who's with me on this? It can't be me surely?

Perfect organization from the purchase of beer to the disposition of toilets, which were kept absolutely spotless. Um, it seems they know what they are doing in the UK :D Vážně bezvadný stadion. Na zápas Australie v Fiji přišlo 67 tisíc lidí a problémy nebyly vůbec nikde. Dokonalá organize od nákupu piva až po rozmístění toalet, které z nějakého důvodu dokázali udržet v luxusní čistotě. This is one of the best stadiums in the entire country, and I don't just mean Wales, I mean the UK. The atmosphere is intense, the stadium is beautiful inside and out, modern, it's perfect for any football club. It holds 33k people and only cost 48 mil which is not a lot compared to other beautiful stadiums. Wales have played a few home games here and the Stereophonics have played concerts here, but the fans were just looking, not buying tickets. The media liked the gigs a lot, especially this one guy that I call Mr. Writer.

It would make for an excellent venue with clean toilets and a fantastic view of the football pitch. If you were deciding on booking a place for a business conference I would highly suggest it. ~ Location: As mentioned before its location is great. With a capacity of 12,100 it's quite a bit smaller than Ashton gate, but still manages to deliver a good atmsophere (in part, I think, because it's easier to fill out) both on days that football's played and rugby is. The DAS stand is the most impressive of the four in my opinion, housing the corporate boxes. It feels a bit like a cricket pavilion, and all four stands are slightly different from each other, making the ground feel like a bit of a hodge-podge. Worth knowing that the away stand isn't covered, so it can be a bit of a miserable experience if the weather's not very nice. Also should mention that the Blackthorn stand isn't seated. This makes for a better atmosphere but is a bit of a killer on the legs if you're not used to it. Being in the West Country there are pasties on offer. These are only £2.20 (very cheap for a football ground) and highly recommended. Drink cider to be really authentic. The memorial ground isn't particularly pretty but is a good ground where you'll can enjoy a game of football or rugby.
