So whenever I'm in Mexico, or anywhere for that matter, I always seek out the places that are popular with the locals. This spot for is indeed primarily for locals, the food was outstanding and very reasonably priced, so BINGO! The owner here speaks English perfectly and is quite lovely, friendly and happy to share information about the restaurant and the area. They've got a big alcohol menu with lots wines, beers and pretty interesting specialty drinks. There lots of tacos and expected Mexican fare but they are a legit steak house with some outstanding cuts and selections. Big surprise, not only do they have pastas but they also have a wood fired oven with some cool looking selections of pizzas. For our meal we shared empanadas, OI had the aforementioned palm salad and had one of the steaks (Arrachera Angus) and my honey has the naquitos de cameron and gotta admit we were both pretty impressed and finished with flan, very nice.
