First off, the place she works out of is really cute. She's in an old building in Orangevale and you have to take your shoes off before you enter. It's so peaceful inside that I could literally feel my energy junking things up. I guess that's a good thing though! I've done lots of groupons, but the problem is that even during massages I can't relax, and I never really find a good reason to go back. Kathleen paid attention to my shoulders like everyone does, and it hurt like it always does, but for some reason the room and the oils just helped my mind wander. I was shocked by how refreshed I felt afterward--very unusual for me! Needless to say, I'm definitely going back for her raindrop therapy. I'm still curious about reiki, but I think she is trying to ease me into the heavy-duty energy treatments and I'm not going to argue. I can't really comment on her healing powers since I just got a massage, but if the massage was any indication, she really does have something my previous therapists didn't.

What a wonderful session I had last week with Kathleen! I am familiar with energy and chakra work…read moreso I did have some expectations. Kathleen did not disappoint. Entering her space, I could feel the calming energy greet me at the door. Lying on the table, Kathleen went to work, first using essential oils on various spots on my body then working on getting the blocked energy unstuck. I could feel the energy start moving almost immediately. Towards the end of the session, she used tuning forks and the sound produced resonated with me at a soul level. I felt such joy running through my body! We closed with an intuitive reading. I highly recommend booking a session with Kathleen. She is truly gifted!

after 1.5 years of care in 2016-2017…read more I wanted to give a very honest real review after 1.5 years of care. When I started with Epic back in October 2016 care was amazing for the first 3 months & I wish I had not purchased the 7 month plan & just done 3 months. When I started I was given many promises & excitement about where things were going. I did EVERYTHING to a T & got amazing results. I read the books, I watched the videos. I did the work. No complaints ther. I wouldnt have spent $5000 on the 7 months I would willingly have paid $1200 for what I have received, not what I paid. I watched from afar as people living in the direct area got to attend classes that I couldnt benefit from & weren't recorded to be watched later; they were offered great meal plans they could purchase from their Hy-Vee, but wasn't available at ours. We were still paying for the same care. If there were program changes (such as online/distance options that mirrored local options) then that I would be willing to take a look at the program & update that part of my review. January 2017 everything went south. Communication was out the window. I think they have some very real growing pains that they are going through & I got caught in the cross fire of it. Or the wedding plans were too much and they couldn't keep up properly with their workload at that time. I started to get closer to the end of my 7 month plan & then it was like "ok so when my plan is done, then what?" Because when I initially sat down with Dr B I was told: supplements were a crutch & it was the goal for me to not ever need them again because I would be so healthy. I didnt see that being the case. There were constant promises of new things that WOULD be coming but I wouldnt get to benefit because it wouldnt be in my 7 months I paid for. I addressed this with Dr B & he & Rachel put myself along with another Epic member on a phone call & made us an offer: would we be willing to analyze & give continuous honest feedback with the offer of lifetime membership (but still pay for supplements & lab tests, none of this was in writing ever)? All ideas & trouble areas were to be sent back to Dr. B. I was ok with this idea until I saw that our messages weren't being listened to. Look Dr B & his team initially were AMAZING. It was spot on what I paid for initially. I did my work and they did theirs. I was married to this thing & I did the work & then some. Dr b is an AMAZING dr and so much to offer the world SO SO SO MUCH! I just think they are having some big growing pains while trying to help so many people because they care so much. It was frustrating to feel like I putting in more work to benefit the EPIC team and the OWL group with my personal knowledge all while I'm paying for assistance. Informational videos and how to videos. All while being asked if they could hire me.... But I didn't feel I was in a healthy place to be supportive to other people at all. I was asked if I would be willing to gather all my information & have a phone call to go over all this with Dr Bradley. I agreed. I was also asked to remove my review. I wanted to help EPIC grow so NO ONE would go through this feeling like I did. I had 3 full pages of feed back . I never got that phone call with Dr Bradley. Instead, I only talked with Rachel, briefly. With that I requested a partial refund. I got $600 back to refund what I paid in my portion for health coaching. They never once heard my feedback. I took the time to prep all postive and negative. I burned the list in our burn pile after that and decided I had done what I could to the best of my ability and learned much about how not to spend my money again. This program is for people who know NOTHING about proper health or nutrition, not someone who was already as versed as I was. As of right now I can confidently refer: I can recommend the Wellness Way clinics around America confidently.

I paid a lot of money to be given food rules and the illusion I could control and "fix" what was wrong. This care was a bad fit but this was not expressed during the initial consultation. Luckily, I have found a Health at Every Size (HAES) doc and nutritionist and I'm on the road to recovery.

BioEnergetic Assessment is intended to tap into the body’s communication system to find what it may need to restore and maintain health returning the body back to balance. Holistic Health is designed to address the entire being including the mind, body and spirit. All symptoms represent the body’s attempt to restore itself back to a state of health. Instead of looking at a health issue as something wrong, we see it as the body trying to make itself right. We believe: - Our bodies are a flow system designed to take in nutrients and eliminate wastes and toxins. - A symptom is the body’s cry for help. - Dis-ease is a blockage in the flow system somewhere. - Our bodies are designed to experience optimal health when given exactly what they need.
