But the woman at the front desk who I called on the phone was SO happy to help me, she made me feel so welcome and so extremely prioritized, that I actually felt EXCITED to get go in to the dentist, & by chance was able to get me in very quickly, she really took her time and put me on hold to invest help into figuring out this tooth crisis, without EVER making me feel like I was a burden, or annoying, I felt like a person! a valuable patient in need! That was very valuable and important to me, I felt seen, and I knew right away that I could trust them to care for my teeth correctly... I immediately took an Uber over to Reynoldsburg Dental Center, (from the dental center down the way that I was currently at, who made me feel like a burden and unwelcome) so, needless to say I was SO happy I found reynoldsburg dental! Especially, because I had a broken tooth come up with sudden sharp pain and needed it pulled ASAP! I was SO confident walking up to reynoldsburg dental, even though I hadn't seen it inside, I could tell who they were, honest people who want to help; well, my expectations did NOT fail me, upon walking inside, the atmosphere is so comfortable that you feel like you're at home!wonderful music, lovely books available, and extremely nice people, this is DEFINITELY the place you are looking for if you've ever had an uncomfortable or bad experience at another dental office and you want to change that! I will NEVER go anywhere else now, It was THAT nice after I went in the back, my dentist went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable and completely informed, he walked me through everything and I felt NO pain at all even when I got it pulled out, only pressure, no pain! They pressured me to schedule the root canal in their office (they wanted almost 5k upfront for it) and the endodontist wasn't even in until the next week. At that point I was in so much pain I couldn't wait a week. I reached out to another office and they called aspen to request my x-rays so they would proceed with the root canal. Aspen claimed it would take 2-4 business days for them to get the x-rays sent over. When I called aspen and demanded them, they emailed them immediately and lied and said the other office didn't request them. I ended up getting an emergency root canal at another office who got me in the same day. They charged less than half of what aspen wanted me to pay and were much more professional and caring. Worst experience ever and will never return.

I've had 2 experiences at this location. The first was just over a year ago in an urgent care…read morecapacity on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy. The wait was long and the dentist was very quick and not very informative. I did not end up having any treatment done at the time. This brings us to yesterday. I made an evening appointment to address the same problem tooth I had been seen for a year ago. I showed up 30 minutes early hoping to get bumped up a little. They signed me in. Took my insurance and told me to have a seat. Within 10 minutes (20 minutes before my appointment was scheduled to start) a tech came and got me and lead me to the exam room. We had to do a set of 4 "quickie x-rays" since it had been over a year since I had them done. We talked about what I wanted to do which was pull the offending tooth. She told me to wait and the Dr. would be right with me. Within 5 minutes the Dr came in. He poked around taking inventory of my dental disaster. I told him my intention of having the tooth pulled and he agreed it was the best course of action. (No pressure for an expensive dental service just to make money.) The tech added all the issues to my chart and had a nice girl form the front desk come talk to me about pricing for the whole shebang. She was very clear that it did not all need done that and could be done at my choice at later dates. I felt very informed and in control of my medical care and cost of treatment. Within 10 minutes a hygienist came and gave me a topical analgesic. The Dr. came in 5 minutes later to give me the shots (which I didn't feel at all.) After 10 minutes of numbing, he got to work and in about 10 more minutes the offending tooth was out. I felt NO pain! Just a little pressure. It was such a relief. From beginning to end, the entire process took just over 1 hour. Can't beat that! I will continue to seek dental care from this location until my mouth is healthy again. **I do very much recommend making an appointment during the week whenever possible. As with most urgent/emergency facilities, it gets VERY busy and the wait can be very long.**

To top it off they did not give me Pain medication when I requested it even though I was in obvious pain. My family and I had been looking for a new dentist in the area and the insurance company gave me the old phone # and address. When I called to schedule appointments I was informed of the move and given the new address. As it was a little further than I wanted to travel the experience was well worth the additional miles, myself my husband and my two children or scheduled within three days of the initial phone call. Dr Daugherty and his staff are both professional and personable. I would recommend this practice to all my family and friends. The level of comfort is unbelievable. Dr Daugherty and his staff made us feel like we were the only patients that they have. They were focused on our comfort and individual needs. My daughter is three years old and was a little apprehensive. The experience she had at Dr Daugherty's office has removed any and all fears of the dentist. We will definitely be back for our 6 month check.
