Updating this review after acquisition by Waste Management. Our bill has increased 22% over the last 12 months at, as per WM, the fault of increases in fuel and landfill costs. We've had several pickups missed and were not notified why until we called to ask. After finding a local competitor to pick up our trash for nearly half of what WM will, we were told they'd match prices for a 1.5 yd dumpster (competitor has 2 yd). Company has gotten too big. Prices are going up without benefits increasing as well. read more

Caprock Waste - This is what smoking diesel represents. - Lubbock, Texas

What a POS company! We have been to every home TTU game and 5 out of 5 games there has been no water in the handwashing station. They have 1 game left to try and do their jobs. If I were paying for that contract, they wouldn't get a check from me. Stay tuned to see what happens next week... read more

Waste Management has taken over and price has gone up, service has not. We get a week missed almost every month, not that it hurts much since the dumpster is huge. ( I had no idea and this was suggested - seems really excessive for a single family home) Thing is, we are now paying $110 a month for about three pickups a month. We have had a ton of rain lately and Caprock hasn't picked up in just shy of a month. (Because of the dirt alleyways? Don't know, there is no info on the website.) Guess I'll call tomorrow. Kinda' bad for $110 a month. I just can't recommend them. read more

This company's prices have increased with a decrease in customer service. They have failed to empty our dumpster for the past two weeks and miss at least once per month. They report that the alley is too wet despite other trash services emptying dumpsters without issue. After calling they offered to send a truck out to empty the dumpster but then never sent one. There are better companies out there. read more
