It's not unusual for a store not to have a restroom for their customers, however, to have a big door marked "baño", not "baño private or employee only or out of service. Now after seeing this I felt like told me no only after seeing me. I checked the door, it was unlocked, so I went in and used it. He seen me come out and he said "The bathroom is not meant for the public", i said "then it should not be out in the public and open" He denied my sale ($2.45), really, at this point I didn't want to be a Karen, so I left the store. I'm on a $5,000.00+ vacation and was denied the use of the restroom and a $2.45 purchase from a minimum wage earners.

Only problem I've had so far is with buying appliances…read more 1) THEY DON'T DELIVER but recommend someone that does, the guy was very nice but comes alone and you may need to help him unload when he gets to your place. 2) Appliances already damaged even before it is handed over to you. Explanation: I bought a stove and had it delivered. I partially unwrapped it and noticed a small dent on the side of the stove but decided to disregard it because it would be hidden by the cabinets. Next day I go and buy a refrigerator. I get it delivered and when I unwrapped it there was damage to the door, the door seal and the back protective panel. I take it back, they unwrapped the last two refrigerators and both had dents in different areas, they offered me a $40 discount to take one of the three, not a great deal considering that I had to pay double delivery for the same appliance. I opted to purchase a more expensive refrigerator after inspecting it for damage before finalizing the transaction. They offered an apology but no compensation for the added expense of having to deliver the appliance twice. Now I get home and proceed to set up the refrigerator and stove. The stove ends up having further damage with the metal sheet at the bottom of the oven being bent and out of whack and one of the three grills that you place the cooking pots on was bent with the ceramic coating flaking off. They didn't give me a problem exchanging the grill though I had to take the floor model one. This was another inconvenience as I had to drive back again for this last process. I have to say it was a terrible experience with no effort on their part to make amends with the customer. I will continue to shop there but not for any major purchases and definitely nothing that needs delivery. EN ESPAÑOL Personal amable y servicial. Al día siguiente fui a comprar un nevera. Me la entregan y al desenvolverla había daños en la puerta, en la junta de la puerta y en el panel protector trasero. La devuelvo, desenvolvieron las dos últimas neveras y ambas tenían abolladuras en diferentes zonas, me ofrecieron un descuento de 40 dólares por llevarme una de las tres, no es un gran trato teniendo en cuenta que tuve que pagar doble entrega por el mismo electrodoméstico. Opté por comprar una nevera más costosa después de inspeccionar los daños antes de finalizar la transacción. Me ofrecieron una disculpa pero no una compensación por la molestia o el gasto adicional de tener que pagar por delivery el electrodoméstico dos veces. Ahora llego a casa y procedo a montar la nevera y la estufa. La estufa termina teniendo más daños con la hoja de metal en la parte interior del horno que está doblada y fuera de lugar y una de las tres parrillas en las que se colocan las ollas estaba doblada con el recubrimiento de cerámica descascarado. No me pusieron ningún problema para cambiar la parrilla aunque tuve que llevarme la del modelo de suelo. Esto fue otro inconveniente ya que tuve que volver a conducir para este último proceso. Tengo que decir que fue una experiencia terrible sin ningún esfuerzo por su parte para enmendar la situación con el cliente. Seguiré comprando allí, pero no para ninguna compra grande y, desde luego, nada que requiera delivery.

When we said "thank you" to the cashier upon leaving with our items. And it's really not you if you find the cashiers sucking their teeth at you and don't utter a word throughout the transaction. It's them, I really think a majority of them are allergic to being nice. But we saw the best experience last week: Customer: "you shut up" Cashier: "no you shut up" Customer: " you shut up you're a grown woman shut up" Cashier " I don't need to shut up you need to shut up" Customer "shut up shut up shut up" Cashier " you shut up shut up shut up!" (While being dragged away by another cashier) Shopping and entertainment? We think so. We've also learned over the past few years that the items fluctuate in pricing. Earlier this year we bought a 55" tv for $850 the next few days we went back to get another one the price jumped to $999.99. There is no price match here, only a "I think we priced it wrong when it went out onto the floor". Same thing happened for a ottoman we purchased. We got it for $99, we decided again to get a second one and found the price jumped to $299. So lesson learned here, is that if you like it and it looks reasonably priced, it is probably due to human error, so buy it now before they catch the mistake. Also make sure you check expiration dates, they don't care if you take expired items or items a few days away from hitting those dates. The worst part of this store is the to go food counter. Beware of the undercooked grey meat and if you complain about your fries being cold be prepared to get a stinky look. The best was a few days ago the hubby asked 3 employees lined up (back behind the counter doing NOTHING )if they were going to give us our order and the response was a stare back and the cashier going off on them and still no order. This is one of the few stores with no hurricane damage, they carry Kirkland products and they are still receiving regular shipments so you can actually find things. What's scary about all of this is that pricesmart isn't that bad in comparison to other grocery stores so imagine of what you'll get to deal with elsewhere! #St.Thomas #USVI

I realized Amigo is owned by Wal-Mart and they do sell a lot of Great Value branded items, which are the cheapest on the shelves. They have a butcher that makes fresh steaks and churrasco, which is a fatty cut of meat similar to a skirt steak. This cut of meat is a staple in Puerto Rican cuisine and Amigo keeps them stocked daily. It's such a tasty steak, especially when you serve it with chimichurri sauce! OMG! Anyway, this is my go-to grocery store here in San Juan. Did I mention they have valet parking?
