Terrible customer service. Very tacky! I mistakenly broke a 15 Euro Bell. I went to purchase 2 bells for 50 Euros. The clerk asked if I wanted the shattered bell to be wrapped as I had to pay for it. In addition to being known for breathtaking views,, high end shopping, the Blue Grotto and bea ceramics, bells have long been considered Capri's lucky charm. Legend has it that an island shepherd once lost his only sheep while on the slopes of Mount Monte Solaro. He heard the sound of a ringing bell which led him to a steep cliff where Saint Michael appeared and gave the shepherd a bell which he said would protect him from harm. Shops all over Capri sell bells. Christmas ornaments, hanging bells, wind chimes, figurines and bell charms for necklaces and bracelets. This shop was literally dripping in bells of every size and color! Hanging out front, hanging from the ceiling inside, plus shelves and shelves just loaded with them. Even a jewelry case with both costume and higher end charms. For my Christmas tree, I selected a light blue and white ceramic bell because I love to adorn my tree with travel memories. 20 years ago in Rome I picked up a Pinocchio ornament and to this day it remains one of my favorites. To add to my necklace that has an Italian horn and St. Christopher's medal, I picked out a small silver bell that actually rings. It looks fab! My friends all got charms as well and a few other items. read more

I was so excited to go to this store it was on my list of things to do. When I got there I was looking at the charms and prices myself and someone offered assistance. The girl pulled out there most popular charm which I did not know the price of and misunderstood her as she had a very heavy accent and thought she said $15. I paid with a $50 and was expecting change and didn't recieve any. I then said I don't want to pay that much and want my money back and that's when she tried to give the excuse it was already processed in the computer and I couldn't. I paid with cash so that excuse doesn't work. I tried to argue with her and she basically pushed us out of the shop. Finally after getting with my tour guide she went in the shop with us and got me my $50 back. But I will never recommend this place to anyone for the treatment I got. read more

We went on 7/6/24 at 10:20 am to see the blue grotto. The captain decided we should wait to see it and said it wouldn't take long 2 hours later we didn't see it, people were puking over the boat, and he still didn't take us back to port. Finally he got another boat to take people back who didn't want to wait for the grotto. But when it was time for us to get on the homeward bound boat he cut us off and told us there was no more room on the other boat. Instead of saying he would get another boat he just remained quiet until we had to tell him we were being kept prisoners on the boat and he got another boat to take us back. He was rude and yelling at us because of our frustration. I would not recommend this to anyone. It's not worth the headache. read more

Some fancy ones are made with metals. But all the same. Super cute charming and loud little bells! They also make souvenirs like trinkets, light houses and magnets! But the bells! Get the bells!
