My experiences with the Carbone Cancer Center is very different then the previous reviewer (I am…read moredeeply sorry for your rotten experience though.) I see Dr. Amy Stella at the 1 South Park clinic. I'm not sure what my expectations were regarding an Oncologist but Dr. Stella exceeded them by a lot from my first visit in 2014 to last week. She is brilliant and warm. I've heard that some doctors give their patients a hard time when they complain about side effects of their medication but Dr. Stella LISTENS carefully and tried different medications (estrogen suppressants) until one worked for me without wrecking my day to day life. What a blessing she has been through this whole breast cancer experience. Kim Hogan

I was referred to Carbone due to a cyst/mass on an ovary. I am not suppose to have an ovary at all…read moredue to hysterectomy in 1998. I already saw 2 gynecologists and many hospitalist and an oncologist who recommended I see Carbones gyno oncologist. I was totally dismissed! They never spoke to me, they just totally dismissed me. It does not sound like a very caring place that leaves a patient out of the equation while "all" the providers I have seen are concerned. This has caused me unnecessary mental stress and constant pain and no help. This was fast growing and it is too big for OSF gynocoligist to remove or to biopsy. Thanks Carbone for leaving me out to dry.

I've been a WELL-CARED for member with GHC since 2019. When I first moved to Madison in 2018, I had…read morea different service provider that was... questionable. As soon as open enrollment for insurance was available, I made the move as fast as I could. I have never had a bad visit here. I've ALWAYS received the best care possible. As someone who is a zebra when they typically treat cows (referencing my very complex medical history) they've handled it with superior care, concern and streamlined servicing. I've had everything done from physicals, lab work, physical/cognitive therapy, specialized treatment plans and about anything else you can imagine-- including surgeries contracted through UW Health Systems. Yes, there are preapprovals required for certain types of concerns, but I've never had an issue with paperwork going and has been done with little to no effort on my part. My doctor is Kyoko Felland and I ABSOLUTELY love her attention to detail and focus on my overall health. She always knows me and my concerns without having to look up my chart. I enjoy seeing her so much, I'd consider her a friend if it wasn't awkward. :) My husband had another PCP but after my stellar experience with her, decided to make the witch to GHC as well. She spends a good amount of time with us each visit and even catches up with our personal life mentions from previous visits. My children all see

I have never had so many issues with Healthcare in my life. Specialty care is booking 7 months out…read more My PCP is 3+ months out. When attempting to have a med refilled I was told they won't fill it because I haven't seen my Dr in over a year. I had an appointment and was in a rear end collision on way to appointment. I called and explained immediately and took the next available appointment. It was six months out. So now I have to go without something that really helps me. I again tried to get an earlier appointment but now its 7 months out. When saying this I was told "it states clearly in your care plan to be seen every 4 months. This was with dermatology.
