I just wanna let yall know these people are racist asf and weaponize police. If I could take stars away then I would. A friend of mine signed for a title loan and you wouldn't even believe the unnecessary fees they tacked on to his bill. They thought he was black and ignorant. When they would call about payment he would always ask for verification of fees IN WRITING. They towed his vehicle for nonpayment (the ridiculous fees). He payed to get his car back (paying more than what he owed). The next day when he went to get paperwork explaining the fees of course their system was down (its always down whenever the customer actually has time to look into it). What really floored me was the fact that they actually hit the panic button on him. Again, they didnt call the police. They hit the panic button knowing the high alert the police would be on by that action. For those who dont know a panic button is a silent alarm people press when they are being robbed, etc. So how do you think the police were gonna show up in this situation? They unjustifably hit the panic button on him. Again, not called the police, but hit a button. It was malice and malicious behavior. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to look at the news and see what happens in situations like that. She was setting him up to be KILLED. He was talking in a calm tone, not using his hands, not using profanity but the receptionist still decided to go with law enforcement when being confronted with the scam they are running. SHE ACTUALLY BRAGGED ABOUT IT BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THE POLICE IS THEIR OWN PERSONAL SECURITY WHEN THEY ARE IN THE WRONG. I advised him to leave and return with the attorney or a police officer so he left. The police called to tell him the MANAGER said he SOUNDED threatening over the phone. THE MAN WAS LITERALLY HOARSE FROM GETTING OVER A COLD. Threat? How? We all know what the real threat was. He was just a 270 pound black man in a openly racist city trying to understand how yall towed his vehicle and tacked hundreds of dollars in illegal fees. And to add insult to injury, when he physically came in after never getting results over the phone your system was miraculously down and you felt threatened because it was clear that you were wrong. He was calm and professional, and they didn't like that. His skin was the threat and the target. We have our attorney handling this matter now and an official complaint has been filed with the BBB. I just want people to know this is they type of games they play before they waste their time, energy and money dealing with these people. read more
