My $1.00 cup of gravy that cost a customer
    Latishia A.

I give capital corner a lot of business over the years. Today I bought an egg foo young lunch combo. I realized after I paid for my food I needed another extra small container of gravy. They wanted to charge me a $1.00,,,, that was fine but they wouldn't take my debit card and I didn't have cash. They really made me go find a $1.00 to purchase the extra side of gravy. You would think all the years of business i gave to them, they could have speared a $1.00!container of gravy to go with my egg foo young. They really lost a customer over a $1.00 container of gravy. If you're an Ithaca College student, you'll definitely recognize the name of this spot because they always slip those delivery brochures once per semester under your door HAHAHA I have never had a bad experience with Capital Corner. If your delivery gets delayed they will call you up and tell you. Food is never cold and it's secured well. They have a mix of Americanized Chinese food and actual Chinese food options. They also have a sister spot next to it called "Capital State Kitchen" if you want fusion Japanese/ sushi. Prices are affordable. Whenever Grubhub sends me a discount coupon I typically order from this spot. Only food item I wouldn't recommend getting is the congee because I find it rather bland.

Bad hard ramen noodles and frozen vegetables.

The owner, Mr. Chen, was very nice and hospitable. The general Tso was fantastic as well! I will definitely come again.

Poor service and rude workers. Called a hour ahead of my pick-up time and they had no record of my order. Never apologized.

It's a regular, so-called 'Americanized Chinese food" restaurant. I'm Asian, but I'm fine with it.

The service is lacking but sorry, it's lacking at every Chinese place in Ithaca (except for my fave take-out only Ling Ling, that woman is the sweetest!).

Good Jajjangmyeon in Ithaca!…read more My parents recommended this spot to me- and they are very particular about their Asian food. They absolutely hated Kimchi. I finally got around to trying Asia Cuisine though must admit I was a bit hesitant given their extensive menu (I feel like if a restaurant offers too many types of cuisines the quality takes a hit). However, I was pleasantly surprised! I had been craving jajjangmyeon (I had it once at Koko's but it was not good) and ordered Asia Cuisine's C3 green tea noodle w jajang sauce. The noodles were delicious! Al dente and the slightest hint of green tea flavor! The jajang sauce was a tad oily and not super traditional, though I still enjoyed it- especially the addition of onions! Service was okay. Nothing exceptional. While I haven't tried any of their other menu items, I would recommend their green tea noodle jajjangmyeon!

Pretty straightforwardly named Asian cuisine. They offer a combination of Chinese Japanese and Korean food. I had a tasty Bulgogi bento box which had tempura, a California roll, japchae, salad with ginger, purple multigrain rice and of course the delicious bulgogi. It's a casual atmosphere with friendly service. We honestly walked in cause we overheard several people saying it was better than "this", "this", and "that". But honestly the aroma from the kitchen was enough to draw me in. Definitely tasty, fresh, well portioned and highly recommended.

She gave us a donut and warm soy milk, there's also free peanuts, candy and fruit. The hospitality is outstanding and it's 1000000 stars for that alone. We got chicken and chive fried dumplings, soup dumplings and what we thought was Jajangmyeon but it wasn't and it was just a 'pork and sauce noodle' dish, it didn't have any black bean sauce. I also forgot to ask for sauces and ginger so idk if they even had that but it needed it. Parking is a mess and it's more of a walking town, there's tables and it's a lot like a food court inside.

A whole family sat around a work table, rolling, filling and shaping dumplings. I'm a vegetarian, so I can't speak to the majority of the dishes, which contain meat, but my veggie steamed dumplings are delicious with some spicy oil. Not flimsy and weird-tasting, like when you order "gyoza" from most restaurants. Next time, I'll try the buns and perhaps one of the pancakes. As I waited, I saw it was a destination for students in town, a good sign. The menu is quite extensive for such a simple and small space.
