After their "welcome" I decided to try ICCU. What a great experience! I was immediately greeted by Tomas Murrillo. He was a very pleasant young man. I told him I wanted to open an account. He welcomed me to ICCU and thanked me for picking them. He helped me through the process setting up an account and their security questions etc, (great customer safe guards--though a lot of input). Once everything was completed, he again thanked me, gave me his card and told me to call him with any question or concerns. Upon inquiry about where it states Zelle deposits are excluded, they could not provide an answer. Furthermore, because my transaction was conducted through checking instead of my debit card, I was deemed ineligible for the grace period--a detail that conflicts with the email I received from them, indicating I had a grace period. It's best to avoid Wells Fargo; they have little regard for their customers and seem to manipulate the rules concerning the grace period in order to impose overdraft fees. We had this done each year for the past 4 years without an issue. This time the lady at the counter said we notarize but dont fax. Something new???????????? Well this time a lady in one of the cubicles said she would notarize and said we dont send. I told her that we had the paperwork notarized and faxed 4 times before without any issue and if this was something new. She said oh you need it faxed, okay let me see the paperwork and Id. She said the paperwork did not need to be notarized, we told her we had issues in the past with the company this was the reason for the notary. The bank officer seem to be a little upset to do her job and walked off with the paperwork after she had notarized it. She returned 5 minutes later and stated the fax machine was broke and to go somewhere else to fax it. We called the hub Pocatello branch when we arrived home. The lady at the hub contacted the Nampa branch and found out the fax was down but went back on line after we left, what a coincidence. This bank was good 10 or more years ago when we joined but it sure going down hill.

The call ended and I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. I called the office again two days later trying to reach someone who could help and received a call back from Nick Sutton, this time he was immediately abrasive and when I asked where this is all this coming from he proceed to tell me to hold on for 60 seconds while he screamed for his dog in my ear. I still to this day don't know why I was treated so rash. I have since emailed Conrad and Justin Smith the President of WT with no reply two weeks later. I ended up going to Nick's last place of employment one block to the south, Mountain West Bank and the customer service has been above and beyond. * I have the recorded calls if you want to try to deny any of this Nick and I'm actually being nice not going into all the details.
