Got to restaurant and paid $30 for yellow'd iceberg lettuce with one chicken breast and a soda. $5 for literally 4 slices of chicken is insane. And $20 for a bowl of lettuce is even worse. The service couldn't be worse! Came through the door and up to the register to order ...to no one. Workers could be seen in the kitchen through a mirror on their cell phones being highly inattentive. While visiting my sister in Hanson, my father and I were hungry and were looking for something healthy but filling. Something quick like takeout. I remember seeing Cape Cod Café as I drove through the intersection. Located off of a main road and a busy intersection, Cape Cod Café is mostly known for it's pizza but that particular evening, my dad and I both got the chicken, broccoli, and bacon salad but we asked for no bacon. Sometimes it can be way too overpowering. What I love it is that it was on a cold bed of lettuce with warm chicken and broccoli. The contrast was delicious and interesting. It was very easy to place my order, I called ahead of time, they gave me about 25 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later, and it was ready. They were super friendly and because I had my one year-old son, they gave me a complimentary cookie. They said the owners love to do that. I thought that was adorable. I also ate some of it and it was delicious. They also sell pizza dough there. I love that idea. It was pretty busy but nothing crazy. Only a few people in line. There are a few tables so if you want to dine in there, you can. Parking is available but somewhat sparse considering the location. Overall, I would definitely grab that salad again and I would be interested in trying their pizzas. I was surprised at how expensive everything was, but the portion was big so I would pay that price again. read more

Ordered a steak and cheese sub and got a over cooked horrible tasting over seasoned meat with too much salt and barely any cheese. Way overpriced for meat was dry and salty Have had there steak and cheese in the past and was always good but I wouldn't feed it to my dog now. It was a complete waste of money. This place is my all time favorite pizza place. This is the perfect South Shore bar pizza. The pepperoni pizza is amazing, and the feta and chopped pepperoni is the best thing they sell. I'm out of state now, but I make sure I visit every time I come up to see family. I think about this pizza all the time, I even bought one of their used pans and a hat for myself. This is the second time I've tried this place and was extremely disappointed. I ordered a gluten free crust with 3 toppings and each time it was just a pile of mush. Inedible. Years ago Cape Cod Cafe used to be amazing bar pizza. I used to buy Pizza from Brockton there and it was always excellent. Today we ordered 2 large pizzas and they were horrible. One was undercooked and tasted lousy. The cheese pizza was ok, but not worth eating. I was warned by a family member that the pizza was expensive and not that good. Something has changed and we will no longer go there. When I called she said it was under new management. I don't know what happened, but this is not the Cape Cod Pizza we all used to love. read more

Just like the original but with more. We are so glad Cape Cod Cafe opened another store in Halifax. Order their Greek pizza (original bar style pizza) and it was delicious. Also order a pepperoni and a mushroom pizza no both rocked. The Greek salad was delicious as were the buffalo chicken tenders. Very convenient location near Stop n Shop and Walmart. I was very excited to see CCC open right next door. I was very disappointed though. The sauce is way too spicy and my onion pepper pizza had so many onions the top was sliding off the pizza. NOT the same as CCC Brockton. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would!! I specifically asked for a calzone with just chicken broccoli and cheese, no mush, onion, pepper & tomato but when we got home the calzone had everything we didn't want in it! I immediately called to let them know of the mistake and the best offer they could give me was was a coupon for a free cheese pizza $8.50 the calzone that was WRONG cost me $12.50!! If I drove all the way back there they would fix it, but only if I drove back.
