Where do I start? Filthy feeders and waterers that look like they haven't been scrubbed in months, lethargic roosters, a sheep with what looks suspiciously like an open wound on its side, over-crowded point of lay pen...also extremely unprofessional handling of any complaints - deleted anything negative said against them on Facebook, refused to even use it as constructive criticism - have blocked numerous people for leaving said comments. And a sickly drake. A sickly, stressed, plucked looking drake with a lowered immune system and a bacterial infection spreading through his lungs that took several messages, in-person visits and finally to get somebody else to go in my place in order to purchase the duck - which has now cost us $800 in vet bills (consultations, blood test, x-rays, two rounds of sedation/anesthetic and two weeks worth of medicine) incurred from the negligence received from this store. Don't regret the vet bills at all - but regret the fact that they were necessary BECAUSE of this store. Originally told that he looked so "scruffy" because he was "too young for his adult plumage" and therefore not for sale. Was then offered 10 day old duckings, because apparently they weren't "too young". For photographic evidence and more information, please visit: http://www.facebook.com/WhistlesTheDuck . read more
