Terrible experience at entrance with a very rude and dismissive manager who I doubt is the owner!…read more If the owner actually knew his manager refuses to accept 4 decent and polite adult customers, visiting this place when the restaurant was three quarters empty, falsely claiming that they are full, he or she would not be happy at all. If the guy is the owner, that is even worse. He needs to learn basic manners in customer service. In addition, whether he was angry for some other reason or short staffed because of his poor management skills, his extremely rude way of talking to customers was appalling. I would never recommend a place like this to any customer specially in a city that depends on tourism so heavily and where he has plenty of formidable competitors in serving people amicably. If I could give no star to this place I would wholeheartedly.

Let's start with the good. My husband and I opted to try their pre fixed menu for 30 Euros. The…read moreseafood starter course as can be seen by my picture was very good. It had a nice offering of a variety of seafood. The standout were the snails. They were very meaty and had a very good earth flavor. The desserts were also good, not standout good but solid. Husband has the creme brûlée. The amount provided was more than substantial and I had their tiramisu. It was ok. Why then just the two stars if the desserts and the starter course were good? At the very least it should have received 3 stars. Well, dear Yelpers the 1 star rating is due to the main entrees that both hubby and I ordered. There is just one word to described them- ROADKILL. The rack of lamb was so tough that I had to ask my husband to help me cut it up. Even then I had to hold the plate in place in the event that it would fly across the room and decapitate the other diners. When so finally had a chance to bite into the piece of meat, it was tough and sinewy. It also had a lot of not the good melt in your mouth fat, but gristle. Hubby decided to be adventurous and decided on their meat tartare. Usually, hubby loves his meat to be still mooing. Well, not this time. This time it was just off. Moments later he felt his tummy turn and not in a good way. As soon as we got back to the hotel, I gave him some antibiotic. It's better to be safe than to be sorry. Service also was just so-so. Our waiter came by to take our order and after delivering our meals, he was not to be seen by our table again except when it was time for the check. Next time when we venture out, we will be sure to read the Yelp reviews first. It would have save us from a gastronomic catastrophe.
