Excellent 1st day of driving. The instructor was awesome. The car was very safe. My daughter stated she feels much more comfortable and confident now. And this was only her first lesson. Cantors driving school has exceeded my expectations. Great decision! read more

Great experience. Instructors were helpful. The ability to take the private driving test with them made everything incredibly easy getting my son's license! read more

Company/emails were very unprofessional and almost rude. I was professional with my emails and got almost sas(??) back. There was such limited availability that I had to switch to another company. This is not a big deal but just a warning that they are very booked up and do not do weekends. Edit: 1) They do weekends as they very kindly let me know. the point of my review is that I, a MINOR (not an adult) wrote a review on my personal experience with this company. 2) I set my appointment in June for August and didn't see any weekend lessons available at all so I assumed they didn't offer them. Therefore I will admit my previous statement (they are very booked up and do not do weekends.) is FALSE!!! (as you put it) 3) I am literate (able to read) enough that I could pick up the tone of the emails. If you see the other responses to any "negative" reviews, you will notice the way they respond (not very kindly)... Have a wonderful day! BYE read more

Love this driving school. I am Surprised at the negative reviews. Both my son and daughter took their driving test through them and they both passed. Both my kids are good drivers so maybe the negative reviews are becasie their kids need more practice. I was very happy with Cantors driving school. read more

Pros: military owned Great for teaching discipline to new drivers 16 y. Old Cons: Too strict for people who have license in different countries No Spanish speaking test instructor My review is mixed since they did their job but very strict for someone who already has a license. I would recommend for families wanting their child to be safe but for Spanish speakers I would suggest a more Spanish friendly test to be more comfortable. My wife was failed here but passed elsewhere the next day possible. Very strict here read more

Besides the one test administrator in Boca Raton it was a very good experience overall at Cantor driving school, once my daughter was re-examines by the test administrator at the Lake Worth location she passed was confident and felt like it was an excellent experience, thank you for listening to our concerns and rectifying the situation. The girl who answers the phone and initially helped us is absolutely amazing. the School is blessed to have her overall, it was a good experience. read more

DO NOT BOOK YOUR DRIVING TEST WITH CANTOR. #1, there were MAJOR creeper vibes from the man running it. I would not feel safe having my daughter take a driving test alone with this guy #2, We arrived 11 minutes late after dealing with their strange building location, and the fact that majority of their parking spots were marked reserved for other businesses. They were extremely rude, and told us we'd have to reschedule. Mind you, they were sitting there, doing nothing, and they still refused. Additionally, they want you to pay ANOTHER $50 to reschedule. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Look elsewhere for your driving needs, the cheaper test is absolutely NOT worth it. read more

Fantastic Very best way to get your kids to drive without making yourself crazy lol thank you

Very poor experience. The examiner was rude from the get go and the car (despite what is said in the comments) was in fact in a very poor condition perhaps due to repeated use. After my test the examiner said "so you did not pass" in a matter of fact and entitled tone and had a very poor explanation as to why. Would NOT recommend. read more

My son's lessons were worth every penny. Sometimes you need a different person to reinforce what you have been telling your teen regarding driving. He was a reluctant driver and then didn't take the instruction well. After the 1st lesson we could see the difference and it made our subsequent driving experiences with our son so much better. Very Happy. We had Gary and Eric out of Deerfield beach. My son thought both were great. read more

As of today my child has failed their 3 test. Mind you we paid this company to teach them how to drive. Save your money. He is not a teacher. We have no problem with our kid when they drive. Not LGBTQIA's friendly. read more

Cantor's Driving School - After leaving a bad review Frank has harassed and threatened me. - Driving Schools Near Me - Deerfield Beach, Florida

Very quick to get started, multiple appointments open each month, clear instructions

Horrible experience. The place and people are extremely unprofessional. I did not feel safe in this environment. The tester was very rude and dismissive. Steer clear if you are not a white man. Will be using a different driving school from now on. What a waste of time and money. - the responses to negative reviews shows just how unprofessional these people are read more

Did not clarify driving test was using their car. Gave no time to acclimate to a new vehicle. Very dismissive and rude. Other companies offer a practice run before the test for this reason. Waste of time and money. *clarification - the main point was the very unprofessional experience with the tester. He did not say hello, appeared annoyed to have to do the test, and was very unpleasant which totally flustered my kid. I have actually been a customer in the past for another child and had nothing but a positive experience, even though we didn't pass the first time then either. I appreciate that the owner responds but telling your customers they are wrong only reinforces my rating. read more

This is a company that stands by what they say. Frank the owner was so polite and wanted to make sure we had a good experience. They genuinely care for their clients. It is rare to find companies that listen and go out of there way. Susan, who answered the phone was extremely informative, thorough and patient in helping us make an appointment for my son to take his driving exam. read more

The business manager of this company is extremely rude, condescending, and insulting. I've never experienced such horrible and unprofessional behavior in my life. read more

They cancelled my daughter's prescheduled prepaid for lessons two days in a row at the last minute each time. When we tried to reschedule that lesson again, as my daughter was anxious to get her license, we were told that it would be 6 or 7 weeks until they could fit her in. We received our $150 refund and called another driving school. Overall it was very bad experience with this company. Update: got another vile and threatening voicemail from this guy. It's the third or fourth since I blocked him when this happened. I have the texts and the voicemails and I'm inclined to make jpegs and post them as attached photos. If you look at his other bad reviews you will see a pattern of threatening and rude behavior. Very very bad owner. BEWARE!!!!!! Pictures to come. read more

Save your money and go to the DMV, showed up 20 minutes early and I swear he said we were tardy. Failed my son and said to rebook another test for $65. Luckily next day we got a appointment at the DMV and passed no problem. If you expect more for the $100 you'll be disappointed. Not recommended! read more

Cantors Driving school is very professional and I would highly recommend using them for the private drivers license test.

Best place !! My son was so nervous but cantor's down to earth instructor made him feel comfortable!!! Thank you!!!

sending your shy teenage daughter into a car with a male stranger can be nerve racking on its own. rest assure the instructors at Cantor driving school were nothing but professional. They were wonderful, my daughter felt very comfortable with each one. they each passed along little tips for safe driving. thank you to the instructors we met. read more

Just passed my test today. John was my instructor and was great at teaching me the ropes and having good conversation. Glenn was my test administrator and was very clear about what I had to do and non stressful in the way he gave the test. I would recommend. Please don't leave a negative review because you got in an accident with one of the student drivers. That isn't indicative of your time spent with instruction or the test lol read more

As a new driver with a learners permit, I needed a place with great instructors in order for me to feel more confident behind the wheel and learn tools that I will not only use on the real driving test, but also for many years to come!! My instructor is Frank G of Broward County and he is really great! What I especially like is that they come to your house with their vehicle and during the drive, you are learning new skills as you travel through your city streets. Also, it is not always a set plan as to what you will work on, they are in fact extremely flexible on what YOU would like to become more confident in. Thank you Frank G. and Cantors Driving School! read more

Great experience for both my daughters. Very kind, patient, and even joked towards the end of the exam. Easy to make appointments and much more convenient for drivers exam than the DMV. read more

This place when they're supposed to just do the driving test while your child is driving is asking questions that were on the driving test that they already passed when they're coming up on a stop sign, distracting them from the road then doing the road test and directing them up what they need to do The guy was rude. I asked him a few questions. He laughed in my face and shut and lock the door and said the DMV will get the information and I said I want the information where you were asking her questions from the test while driving to distract her from focusing on the road, and of course South Florida we don't have mountains and the question was which way do you turn your wheel when you're parking on the mountain is something our kids are not used to in South Florida please do not take your child there because they will distract them with questions then tell him all the different things that they need to do to pass the driving testlaugh in your face they're there just take your money and fail your kids read more

Excellent Experience at Cantor's Driving School! My teenager went for his road test here because the dmv appointments were booked for a couple of months. Was a little nervous because he had never taken a driving test there, and had never driven a Mazda 3. He passed his test on the first try. The examiner was amazing and very nice. A+ experience and would definitely recommend! read more

Set up an appointment. Asked me to send a copy of sons permit. Sent it twice. Asked if they got it. Heard nothing. Got a text next day asking me to send permit. Sent it 4 times againn. Texted them asking if they got it. NO RESPONSE. Next day get a message left on my phone from some ignorant person saying " DONT BOTHER SHOWING UP TO YOUR ROAD TEST SUNDAY WE HAVE ASKED YOU TO SEND A COPY OF PERMIT AND YOU DIDNT SO DONT WASTE OUR TIME COMING" How rude and obnoxious, they already charged my credit card up front. When i called back the guy said" OH I GOT YOUR ATTENTION NOW" I was like are you kidding me!! You are so unprofessional i wouldnt come after leaving me such an obnoxious message and I began to tell him off!!! THEN HE STARTED SENDING ME THREATENING TEXTS THAT HE WILL CALL THE DRIVERS LICENSE BUREAU AND MAKE SURE MY SON DOESNT GET HIS LICENSE! These people are sick!!! BEWARE!!!! read more

Very poor customer service. So rude- shake my head. I had scheduled a road test and ended up asking for a refund because I had an out of state Permit. I'm not even exaggerating but the lady on the phone was extremely rude about it and when I told her the last 4 digits of my card, she hung up in my face. I'm so glad I didn't give them my money.
