Company/emails were very unprofessional and almost rude. I was professional with my emails and got almost sas(??) back. There was such limited availability that I had to switch to another company. This is not a big deal but just a warning that they are very booked up and do not do weekends. Edit: 1) They do weekends as they very kindly let me know. the point of my review is that I, a MINOR (not an adult) wrote a review on my personal experience with this company. 2) I set my appointment in June for August and didn't see any weekend lessons available at all so I assumed they didn't offer them. Therefore I will admit my previous statement (they are very booked up and do not do weekends.) is FALSE!!! (as you put it) 3) I am literate (able to read) enough that I could pick up the tone of the emails. Pros: military owned Great for teaching discipline to new drivers 16 y. Old Cons: Too strict for people who have license in different countries No Spanish speaking test instructor My review is mixed since they did their job but very strict for someone who already has a license. I would recommend for families wanting their child to be safe but for Spanish speakers I would suggest a more Spanish friendly test to be more comfortable. DO NOT BOOK YOUR DRIVING TEST WITH CANTOR. #1, there were MAJOR creeper vibes from the man running it. I would not feel safe having my daughter take a driving test alone with this guy #2, We arrived 11 minutes late after dealing with their strange building location, and the fact that majority of their parking spots were marked reserved for other businesses. They were extremely rude, and told us we'd have to reschedule. Mind you, they were sitting there, doing nothing, and they still refused. Additionally, they want you to pay ANOTHER $50 to reschedule. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Look elsewhere for your driving needs, the cheaper test is absolutely NOT worth it. read more

Besides the one test administrator in Boca Raton it was a very good experience overall at Cantor driving school, once my daughter was re-examines by the test administrator at the Lake Worth location she passed was confident and felt like it was an excellent experience, thank you for listening to our concerns and rectifying the situation. Very poor experience. The examiner was rude from the get go and the car (despite what is said in the comments) was in fact in a very poor condition perhaps due to repeated use. After my test the examiner said "so you did not pass" in a matter of fact and entitled tone and had a very poor explanation as to why. Would NOT recommend. read more

My son's lessons were worth every penny. Sometimes you need a different person to reinforce what you have been telling your teen regarding driving. He was a reluctant driver and then didn't take the instruction well. After the 1st lesson we could see the difference and it made our subsequent driving experiences with our son so much better. Did not clarify driving test was using their car. Gave no time to acclimate to a new vehicle. Very dismissive and rude. Other companies offer a practice run before the test for this reason. Waste of time and money. *clarification - the main point was the very unprofessional experience with the tester. He did not say hello, appeared annoyed to have to do the test, and was very unpleasant which totally flustered my kid. I have actually been a customer in the past for another child and had nothing but a positive experience, even though we didn't pass the first time then either. Save your money and go to the DMV, showed up 20 minutes early and I swear he said we were tardy. Failed my son and said to rebook another test for $65. Luckily next day we got a appointment at the DMV and passed no problem. If you expect more for the $100 you'll be disappointed. Not recommended! read more

They cancelled my daughter's prescheduled prepaid for lessons two days in a row at the last minute each time. When we tried to reschedule that lesson again, as my daughter was anxious to get her license, we were told that it would be 6 or 7 weeks until they could fit her in. We received our $150 refund and called another driving school. Overall it was very bad experience with this company. Update: got another vile and threatening voicemail from this guy. It's the third or fourth since I blocked him when this happened. I have the texts and the voicemails and I'm inclined to make jpegs and post them as attached photos. Just passed my test today. John was my instructor and was great at teaching me the ropes and having good conversation. Glenn was my test administrator and was very clear about what I had to do and non stressful in the way he gave the test. I would recommend. As a new driver with a learners permit, I needed a place with great instructors in order for me to feel more confident behind the wheel and learn tools that I will not only use on the real driving test, but also for many years to come!! My instructor is Frank G of Broward County and he is really great! What I especially like is that they come to your house with their vehicle and during the drive, you are learning new skills as you travel through your city streets. Also, it is not always a set plan as to what you will work on, they are in fact extremely flexible on what YOU would like to become more confident in. This place when they're supposed to just do the driving test while your child is driving is asking questions that were on the driving test that they already passed when they're coming up on a stop sign, distracting them from the road then doing the road test and directing them up what they need to do The guy was rude. I asked him a few questions. He laughed in my face and shut and lock the door and said the DMV will get the information and I said I want the information where you were asking her questions from the test while driving to distract her from focusing on the road, and of course South Florida we don't have mountains and the question was which way do you turn your wheel when you're parking on the mountain is something our kids are not used to in South Florida please do not take your child there because they will distract them with questions then tell him all the different things that they need to do to pass the driving testlaugh in your face they're there just take your money and fail your kids read more

Set up an appointment. Asked me to send a copy of sons permit. Sent it twice. Asked if they got it. Heard nothing. Got a text next day asking me to send permit. Sent it 4 times againn. Texted them asking if they got it. NO RESPONSE. Next day get a message left on my phone from some ignorant person saying " DONT BOTHER SHOWING UP TO YOUR ROAD TEST SUNDAY WE HAVE ASKED YOU TO SEND A COPY OF PERMIT AND YOU DIDNT SO DONT WASTE OUR TIME COMING" How rude and obnoxious, they already charged my credit card up front. When i called back the guy said" OH I GOT YOUR ATTENTION NOW" I was like are you kidding me!! You are so unprofessional i wouldnt come after leaving me such an obnoxious message and I began to tell him off!!! THEN HE STARTED SENDING ME THREATENING TEXTS THAT HE WILL CALL THE DRIVERS LICENSE BUREAU AND MAKE SURE MY SON DOESNT GET HIS LICENSE! These people are sick!!! BEWARE!!!! read more

Very poor customer service. So rude- shake my head. I had scheduled a road test and ended up asking for a refund because I had an out of state Permit. I'm not even exaggerating but the lady on the phone was extremely rude about it and when I told her the last 4 digits of my card, she hung up in my face. I'm so glad I didn't give them my money.
