Walk in - find a host and be seated - inside or out , lots of tables. Table service - it was on the slow side but given the crowd we were accepting. Lots of good things on the menu, which is broad and has ample vegan and GF options. Coffee was better than expected - above average. Food was good but I noted that table next to us had the dishes come out in ad hoc order so some where finishing when others food arrived. Overall it's good - also a bit pricey. But good.

As other Yelpers have noted, it does get busy and all the inside tables were reserved. Don't get too hung up on sitting inside, I actually think it's nicer to be outside to take in the surrounds. We were able to easily nab a table outside and amongst a lovely gentle breeze. A gentle note: you may spend a little time, as I did, picking out various leaves and plant matter from your plate and cup if you're seated right at the front tables. The menu is standard cafe fare ranging from smashed avocado or banana bread to the Clergy Burger (aka cheese burger). For around $20 per meal you won't go home hungry. There's a few surprises in the duck and lentil dish with orange. Oh how I wish I'd ordered that. It's a perfectly 'A-ok' spot to stop for lunch and as long as you've reserved ahead, breakfast.

They offer breakfast to 1130 and the cafe was packed when we arrived just before 1100. We grabbed a table outside and it was a cool Brisbane Winter day so we took advantage of the blankets Luckily a table opened up and we could ditch the blankets and enjoy our breakfast inside. It was quite noisy inside and the screaming kid didn't help, but once the large family groups left it was a lovely place to relax with a great coffee and fantastic breakfast.

We had the double chocolate (so good) and the espresso (hands down one of the best coffee ice creams I've had). Very friendly staff and even in an extremely busy day we were served quickly. This is not your typical bakery, they do the most divine artisan breads, sour dough, pies, sausage rolls and pastries. Pies with divine tasty fillings and pastry that is soft, crunchy and flakey all at the same time. But the real winner is their vanilla slice, get in quick as they ALWAYS sell out by lunch time. Perfect for a quick lunch time snack but also perfect for an afternoon treat to take home to share. Best bakery I've been to in a while.

Mr. 21 months had a bubbacino and enjoyed that, as it came with sprinkles. I have since found out these are free on Tiny Tot Tuesdays. They have 'toys' at the cafe for kids to play with but they are all run down second hand toys that are largely broken and in desperate need of a clean. The good bit about the cafe is that there is a nearby playground, which is somewhat fenced but the opening to the playground is about 1m off the ground, so you do have to lift your kids into it. This was not optimal with a toddler in one arm and a baby capsule in the other. It could also use more shading. It was wet from rain when I was there.

They have an excellent menu, friendly helpful staff and a tasty range of drinks to tempt all buds. It really is very nice indeed. The front garden offers shaded tables to relax or you can choose indoor seating to get away from the weather. There's even things for the kids to play with and they're pet friendly too, should you wish to dine with your well behaved fur baby. Top marks.

I had a mug of flat white with the smashed avo (I'll never afford my house now). Coffee was ok, the smashed avo well above average. It was the basil pesto that knocked it up an extra notch. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she ducked away and grabbed a little bit more for me! Gladly come back.
