I've decided to get a döner, usually it's my last resort, even then I'll probably get halloumi or something. Gotta tell you - so happy we went in this place! They had two kinds of kebap - but I'm gonna focus on the self made beef one which was absolutely spectacular! I've tried lamb, chicken and turkey before back home but this was totally new to me, and I loved every single bite. Juicy, well seasoned and a nice portion was put in our pitas :) The place is very clean and located on marktstr. The lady over there was nice and I've asked her to put everything inside except onions and tomatoes, not sure what was inside besides but it all blended really good. My friend loved it so much that he wanted to order another one but they already served out the last portions. To be honest? If I wasn't full, would have order another one. There is always a line and I had to see why so many people wanted to eat here. My best guess is that is is just in a good location. Second - the portions. Small portions compared to the other Doner's in the area. And third - the quality. The taste is ok but it's covered in scharf spice so my shoe would taste ok with that stuff on it. What concerned me the most was watching the shave the beef off the roaster. He was trying to keep up with the customers and he was cutting meat that wasn't even close to being cooked. I saw one lady make him give her another plate with cooked meat. My advice - if you have time to walk a couple blocks in any direction do it and find another Doner.
