I came here for the first time yesterday (since I'm a huge fan of spice season downstairs ) and loved my experience here. I had Nina as my massage therapist and she was fantastic she was gentle and relaxing yet also worked out a lot of my problem areas, giving 110% effort on the massage. I felt so much better afterwards. The space: a mix of upscale chain massage places with Asian flair. The rooms are separated by wall and curtains so you can hear when others enter the establishment but it did not interrupt my relaxation. Very affordable, nice staff. The first time we went they gave us exactly what we asked for, I got my intense massage with stretching and my girlfriend got her gentle poking or whatever it is she likes. We got different people the second time and it seemed like they both read my sheet because I asked for intense pressure but my girlfriend asked for light and she said it was a bit too intense at times. They were very strong and we were both sore after, which is great for me but not what my gf was looking for. I often have difficulty finding massage artists strong enough because I have deep tissue issues but I think that was as firm a massage as I've ever had. read more

I am surprised this place has 5 stars. There really isn't anything special about it. It is about the same price or maybe $10 more than similar Thai spas but it is pretty run down. It was musty and hot inside - I had to ask them to bring in a fan. They ask you to fill out a form to state what area you want them to concentrate on but then don't pay attention to it. My therapist was good and very sweet but didn't understand English which made it difficult to communicate. read more

Amazing!!!! We came from out of town to visit Universal Studios. The following day my husband and I decided to get massages. Fortunately, this place was able to accommodate same-day appointments for both of us. We both had excellent experiences with our massage therapists. They clearly knew what they were doing and had very strong hands. My husband liked it so much that he said if we ever come back to the area, we must make it a point to come back during the trip! We can't stop raving about the great massages we received! Both of the massage therapists were very kind and professional. And the price is unbelievable: $50/hour! I wish I could rate this place higher but my experience today was short of amazing. I booked two massages for today: a 1.5 hour deep tissue massage for my boyfriend and a 1 hour Swedish massage for me. I get a call today around 2:45 asking me to push my appointment back 30 minutes. No problem. We arrive and fill out our new customer and problem area/service preference sheets for our massages. I wrote "hot stones" under add ons as they're advertised as free on their menu. My boyfriend and I go to our room and his massage begins. Everything up until this point was fine. My masseuse comes in abruptly, says hello, and starts to press on my legs. After about four uncomfortable and not soothing presses, she leaves the room again. Confused, I wait a few minutes. She comes back and starts to work out my back using her elbows which felt pretty good. She continues to work out my shoulders so excessively that I started to tense up. The massage was 90% pressing her elbows into my shoulders, 2% her pressing awkwardly on parts of my body, and 8% her leaving the room!! There was one instance where it kind of sounded as if someone had come into the room (couldn't tell for sure as I was face down) and she ran after them. She was gone for over 5 minutes during the short hour we had together. I never even got the hot stones! I didn't care to stay any longer to request them but it would be nice to know that they considered the sheet that you fill out while massaging you! After we left, my boyfriend said his massage was super lackluster. His masseuse never worked out any muscle long enough to be effective and "pressed on his muscles as if she were a cat." Overall, I'm very disappointed in my experience. My body feels achey and sore, not relaxed by any means. read more

It is what you pay for. I was hoping to love this place as I live near by and the price is really reasonable (even cheap, if you compare it with independent massage therapists or spas), but it didn't happen. My massage was really average if not poor. The therapist and receptionist were nice though, and it was easy too book but.... I felt no difference after massage. The pressure was too soft and it wasn't therapeutical at all. I better pay more and feel the soreness gone than come in here and feel disappointed. Ugh. Wowwed!!! Oliver did an amazing job at deep tissue massage!! I really needed it from work stress and sitting at a computer all day and although it was tough to endure I feel like he did a great job at realigning me lol.. for lack of a better term. I'm definitely sore ... but I asked for deep tissue and that's what he delivered!! They do offer soft and medium massages and have the bars for them to walk on ur back which I'll be back to try when I'm in the area again. Favorite masseuse by far. Have been going to Pam for six months, on the weekly basis. I'm in sales, and do a lot of traveling. She's helped reduce the tightness in my body from the traveling , and the massages are amazing at de-stressing... reducing inflammation ... etc. Also, I have the best sleep after each massage. I've had a few massages here and always had an easy time booking, last minute to a few days in advance. The price can't be beat and the quality is the best I've had in the Valley! I found this place on yelp and read all the comment. Most likely recommend andy the owner or oliver. I was 7:40pm i contact them through yelp message asking for avilability for the day. They respond back very quick so i got appointment for 8:30. Got there at 8:30 the store located in a small/medium plaza with parking spot. They located on 2nd floor on ur left handside. I walked in and check in with the guy who will give me a massage. I assume he is oliver, sry forgot to ask his name, coz he didnt look like andy from the picture. He asked what type of massage i like, i go with combo, paid cash for 40$ then he walk me to the room. The room was nice there was no actual door just double layer of a heavy fabric kind curtain. The room alittle chill to me when i first laydown. The massage itself was great. I didnt get massage alot but if i do i always go for the stong pressure. This time i asked for medium and he go extra for me which i like. Those who not used aware of the pressure and lets them know if it oo strong or to soft for you. I left to store felt so much lighter like the weight had been removed however there also soreness from a strong massage. Overall this is a good place to try for massage nice space, staff ,cs and real deal massage. If i will be in the area and feel needed a massage i will come back for sure. read more

AMAZING! I came in because I had developed severe neck & shoulder pain. I think I slept on my neck wrong. I believe my therapist was named Rob. He seriously did some work. He really got out all the tension & knots. It was very painful but I felt so much better almost immediately. This was one of the best massages I have ever had & the price was great too! I went to Candle Spa for a massage. Im a body builder and need regular Massage to prevent my body from braking down. I was absolutely impressed with the atmosphere. Clean, homy, inviting, calm and friendly. Andy was my massage therapist. He is excellent. He in intunned with how much pressure to put and where he knew to spend time. He is very respectful, excellent boundaries, friendly and did what he could to accommodate my schedule. The Staff at Candle Spa was all very friendly and greeted me with acknowledgement. I am very impressed with the atmosphere, the setting and most of all an excellent message.
