Jill was an amazing planner. She was very detailed in the plan and even accommodated to my suggestions (blind folding, pretending it's a different event). I live in the US and it was a little nerve wrecking to go through with this plan across the sea, but it was absolutely worth it. You get so much out of the photography session, and Agustin captures every precious moment. I really really suggest them for a proposal. Agustin and Jill were the best! We booked them a few months before we went to Cancun and then messaged them the day before and right before the photo shoot. They met us right outside our hotel and were ready to go! My husband was in a bad mood because of the heat and the sun however Jill and Agustin kept persisting for him to smile and to laugh and kept teasing him it was great! They were very friendly and work great as a team. They were also very respectful my husband didn't want to do intimate shots of kissing etc and they respected his wishes. I hired them to do a family shoot in Cancun near the Riu resorts since they did such a terrific job with my brother's engagement photos turned out so well. My family of 4 visited Cancun earlier this month. I decided to do a Google search to find a photographer to do a photo shoot at our hotel the day of our arrival. I took a chance booking at the last minute without doing a lot of research like I normally do, but I am so glad I selected Cancun Studios! I love that we now have copies of all of our photographs to share with family and friends and I don't feel like I am being nickel and dimed to purchase actual prints. We had a photo shoot for about an hour and had almost 250 pictures within 2 weeks. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous and we are so proud to show them off! Our session was with Augustin and he was early to arrive (waited patiently for us), accommodated our one wardrobe change, was super fun to work with and delivered great pictures. Great pictures and excellent customer service. They made accommodations to meet our needs. We wanted some professional photos to memorialize our 20th anniversary and wanted to do both above and under water photos. Additionally, we brought our kids, parents and a niece to the photo shoot. The photo duo took pictures of the entire group and different combinations and poses. But most importantly they made sure that our photos came out great. The place they took us, Cenote Lucerne, was perfect. It had various natural background setting, including a swing and a small bridge. They made sure the lighting was good and even brought a flash light to use. The cenote wasn't very crowded. Agustin and Jill were very patient with the underwater photoshoot. I had a difficult time diving under the water. (I mostly stayed a float and my dress weighed a ton). But, they didn't give up and tried various techniques to take the "right" picture. All the pictures came out very good and are high quality (make sure you have enough storage!) Agustin and Jill are passionate about their work and are good people. They made the experience fun. They are very speedy in responding to Whatsapp and emails. If you are looking for a reasonably priced photo session, good quality photos, and being with really nice people for half the day, you should use Cancun Studios. read more

So let me just give you a little back story: My SO and I planned a trip months ago to Cancun just as an intimate vacay because in our 7.5 years of being together, we've NEVER been away on an extended vacation with one another. The day came and we checked into our resort and the young lady at the front desk handed my SO an envelope. When we got to our oceanfront view room she hands me the envelope given to her and said "The receptionist gave this to me. You want to open it?" Of course I did! Turns out it was a complimentary photo session at the beach the next morning just for choosing to stay at this particular resort. So we get to Playa Delfines around 7am when the sun was just rising and the setting was BEAUTIFUL to take pictures. I was thinking, this couldn't have been a more perfect day for this! As we're walking towards the beach, we were greeted by a super-friendly gentleman by the name of Agustin and his team, Fernando and Vanessa. He seemed genuinely excited to be meeting us and taking our pictures. As we started setting up on the beach, Agustin let us know basically the "catch" to the photoshoot was that we had to read some cue cards for the resort. Long story short, this was all rigged thanks to my SO and was actually our engagement photoshoot- she was proposing! I can't express the amount of warmth, joy and professionalism that Agustin and his team had! I felt like we had family taking our pictures. Agustin shot us with such life that you could tell he has a passion for what he does. I loved that he was always very conscious of the wind and how it was affecting my hair; he also knew to check my makeup and had me get the gunk out my eye from when I was crying! They were so happy of our engagement (of course they were in on it the whole time) and it touched my heart to see that people were so accepting of us, being a "lesbian" couple. From what my fiancée has told me, Jill was SO helpful in the planning process. Jill and Agustin (who are married :) were ESSENTIAL in bringing this engagement to life and I thank Jill, Agustin, Fernando and Vanessa SO much. They are truly amazing!
