They have many restaurants here, for breakfast and lunch spots as well as dessert spots! Parking is available both on streets going in/out of the immediate park vicinity and there is paid underground parking where we park. This is a good spot for exercise; I've come running here 3 separate times, there are also bike paths, a kids jungle gym and a skate park! Honestly the park feels very safe and has beautiful views of the buildings nearby.

Loved the size, urban views, cleanliness, and features which I'll explain later. It is located in the outer edges of southwest CDMX, so could be a little far depending on where you're located. La Mexicana is clean and modern, with epic views of the tall and often shiny sprawling urban skyscrapers of office building and condos that CDMX has to offer. It's big, but not uncomfortably big - you could easily walk around most of the park and yet not feel cramped. Like many areas of CDMX, it's paid parking - we found a dirt lot that was 25 pesos/hr (seemed to be prorated). We didn't bother driving around to see if there was free parking nearby. FYI - there are some restrooms near the Petco (bring some change as it costs as well). I didn't see much litter and folks seemed great about picking up their dog poop. Came here on a weekend (during COVID) and the park had a comfortable amount of people - not overly crowded or eerily quiet. The walking trails are nicely paved - this is a relief for someone whose ankles have grown fatigued walking the uneven sidewalks of CDMX. The cool features of this park that I don't normally see in parks is that they have a neat strip of restaurants inside as well as a Petco. Forgot to bring Buddy's tennis ball or need to pick up some treats for Daisy? You're in luck. Being able to grab some grub inside the park is a huge perk - no need to do a separate run for food to picnic at the park when it's already there. Hungry while working out? Just hop on over to the food area. While I didn't venture in as I wasn't hungry, these seemed to be legit restaurants. Saw Pielogy (pizza), a poke joint, and El Moro (churros) to name a few. Not your typical rickety park stand with questionable hot dogs and stale fries. Since eating-in isn't an option (COVID), I saw quite a few people chilling on the grass and grubbing. Note that the grass is relatively flat and dry during this time of year...in case your butt prefers padding. I didn't see a lot of benches or tables (if any tables at all), so bring a blanket/chairs if ya like. There are also these steel cube framed structures in some areas of the park. While the tops seem to be slitted so not completely solid, it may provide some shade if you're looking to sit on the grass. There are also hooks attached to the frames in case you want to hang a hammock or tie Fido down. I'd love to come back and do an evening walk and see the urban sprawl lit up like an electric grid. Overall, it's a terrific park if you're looking for a place to walk, job, bring Fido, bike, picnic, or just to hang out.

From there, it's around $250 US a month, I believe. To have such a HUGE facility in the midst of an urban area is remarkable. The landscaping on the property is stunning. So many gorgeous plants dot the landscape throughout. There is a massive pool for serious swimmers, and a separate pool for relaxation and families. The tennis courts are beautiful red clay courts. The grounds staff does an incredible job of keeping the lines clean and the courts watered, and serving as ball boys when needed. Courts can get very busy first thing in the morning and throughout the weekend mornings, as is common at most tennis clubs. There's a full-sized indoor basketball court, something that many gyms don't have. There are also a couple of good-sized soccer fields. There are lots of walking paths to get in those 10,000 steps, and there is a ton of green space to chill out and relax. There are a plethora of dining options, both affordable and pricier. The staff and members that I've encountered are friendly. Hopefully they'll renovate the locker rooms and start allowing members to have a monthly tab for dining, etc., rather than having to pay each time. Anywho, my quibbles are quite minor. When you live in a city as crowded and hectic as Mexico City, it's a wonderful blessing to be able to escape to a quite oasis for health and relaxation. I'm very happy that I joined Club Mundet.

The rudest most impolite unsmiling humiliating cashiers. Do not join this club. Club France or Club Reforma may be better. This club capitalizes on an expat community and really rips us all off.

You will see lots of green grass,…read moreplants, trees, flowers, butterflies, birds, a tennis court, basketball court, soccer field, grill areas to cook, many places to sit, a huge lake, and more! If you are in the area and want a place to sit and relax or a beautiful place to go for a walk, this is where you should come. It is free! The trail is gravel at some point, so a lot of it is not the best for wheelchairs (see photos). There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms here. Go to the first ones you see because those are free..once inside, you have to pay.
