Large parking area with cart corrals and a smoking area out front. It's just like any other Wal-Mart, other than the signs are all in French. I never did manage to work out which one means "rollback" though they do have "price falls". They have personal care, clothing, automotive, sporting goods (like other Canadian stores, no handgun ammunition), electronics, baby, etc. All clearly priced and stocked as I have come to expect outside of the general Bentonville area. It's one of the anchor stores in the mall, so there are entrances and registers in the front of the store as well as over by the entrance to the mall.

It seems like these Dollaramas are everywhere in the Chicoutimi area. This one is located on the…read moremain street of the town, Rue Racine. Tons of inexpensive and cheap stuff, I managed to find the replacement sunglasses I really needed for, yes, $1. And a few other bits to take with me back to the office. I imagine that the inventory here changes quite a bit, but the stock level of some areas suggests that they always have a good selection of party favors, personal care items and an offering of candies and chocolate. Everything in this store is a dollar, but I understand that they will start offering some $2.50 or $3.00 items soon.
