Seafood, and local produce are whats on the menu here. A concise menu with a focus on local and sustainable cuisine. Crispy local fish appetizer is where we started, small fish of various sizes lightly battered and fried crisp with head on. Crunchy little treats, like eating chips but little fishes. Very good and a nice start. Salad of mixed greens with smoked cod fish was our next tapa, a nice mixture of greens with a light dressing of evoo and tender chunks of smoked cod. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. It was light, fresh and quite tasty. Enough to share as well. Creamy rice with clams, squid and a savory red pepper sauce, was our final entree. A large cast iron pot of local seafood with tender rice, a generous portion and was more than enough between the three of us. We could not finish it all. First, it represents the largest produce market in Europe, spanning 86,000 square feet and housing over 1,200 stalls. With its towering dome (Photo 3) and basilica layout, this market feels huge... ...but not intimidating. This space is far less a tourist magnet than a daily functioning, community-focused operation heavily used by the local populace. We saw businesses specializing in fresh rabbit, snails, and specific bean varieties for authentic Valencian paella. There were entire stalls dedicated to freshly harvested saffron, local Valencian citrus, and local seafood like eel and cuttlefish. Of course, for your more immediate noshing needs, you can also find appetizing baked goods, Middle Eastern sweets, and Jamon by the slice. The Art Nouveau architecture is stunning with its iron-and-steel framework and stained glass roof panels. The prices here are pretty good I saw the paella for 6 or 7€ which is pretty cheap although the food is premade and just heated up. I would recommend a visit here when spending time in Valencia.

The food was very good with a few dishes that have a little touch of Japanese flavors which is very nice. The Tartar de Atún that was amazing. I wasn't too sure about strawberries in a tartar but it was actually a delight. The Gyoza with coconut milk & Ponzu was also a great combination of flavors and the Sepia a la plancha perfectly cooked. We didn't have their Paella but we saw a few people order some and they looked great. I'll definitely go back to try their other dishes and probably their paella too.
