Worst place in Munich ever: -it endangers your health: you live right next to a very noisy construction site. it is a skyscraper which is from the ground to the 20th floor built with asbestos, which the wind brings to campus südseite. look this media release: das gift hochhaus von sendling in english the headline means "the toxic skyscraper of obersendling". -the caretaker Ulrich Kohn is aggressive, threatens students with death, screams at them without any reason, is simply disturbing. he calls female inhabitants prostitutes and claims he fu**** them for money. Ulrich is lazy as shit, refusing to help the students. Many things in the flats and house are broken since a very long time, Ulrich refuses to repair them. -the community rooms of the house are closed most of the time. if Ulrich finds students in the communinty rooms he screams at them and is throwing them out immediately. why do we pay if we cant use the common rooms? -if you park in front of the house the caretaker is having your car tow away (400 euros). the caretaker himself in contrast to that is parking in the firefighter accessibility in front of the house all the time. -there is camera surveillance everythere and the caretaker is showing the surveillance pictures to his favourite students and gives them pictures of other students via bloothouth. -it is an extreme money rip off. you pay a high rent in addition to that the caretaker is ripping you off lots of money for everything. you need a transponder to get into campus which is broken every 2 or 3 months, then you need to pay a new one for 80 euros. the gym is not free in fact you need to pay to get the entrance card. -the house management is racist, proudly telling that they are "not renting to people from your country". the managements rips you off when you move out by claiming that things are broken so you pay maybe another montly rent when you move out. read more

This property management company will explore all the possibilities to take money out of your pocket. Please be careful when you decide to move in AND move out. I had horrible experience with them. When I was about to move out, I was told that i have to pay 200 euro cleaning fee, although i have already cleaned the room. They even ask me to clean the roof of the room, which was not perfectly okey when i moved in. In the end, although i have tidied up every corner of the room, they still need to charge me for 100 euro. (for NO reason!) I had to give up arguing and pay, otherwise they wouldn't let me leave. What is even worse, is that when they ask you to sign a document while moving out, they would hide the cleaning fee on the backside of the page, so if you are not careful enough to turn the page around, you would not notice what they might have written on the backside. In my case, i did turn the page around, and i saw the staff wrote lines such as '180 euro charge for the unremovable dirt on the wall'. I told him that those were already there when i moved in, he immediately crossed that line saying that he would investigate further before claiming the charge. I was totally irritated at how sneaky the staff are and how they have been trying to force different kind of $$$ on you.. read more

I've lived in Campus Südseite for two years now and i am writing this review to keep you guys from getting into an awful housing situation. While the rooms are overpriced even for munich standards (~580 Euro, 19m^2), the biggest problem lies in the appartment managment. There has been a Marijuana Problem in the buildings ground floor wich the management doesnt care to (or might not be capable of) take care off. The result: Not being able to open a window 6 days off the week at all times other than maybe noon for an hour, since the moment you open a window your appartment reeks off marijuana smoke (all appartments only have 1 window facing into one direction). At the same time you simply can not avoid that hidious odour inside the appartment because the ventilationsystem in the appartments (that can not be turned off) and the poor floor/wall isolation still lets the smell into the appartment (and that while windows are closed). And dont be tricked into thinking this only affects a few rooms. This particular problem spans to all 4 floors over about 44 rooms. If you re looking for sleepless nights, constant headaches, and an ignorant appartment managment, go ahead and get yourself a room inside Campus Südseite, otherwise i'd strongly suggest to follow my lead and find yourself one of the many other housing situations inside/outside this wonderful city that offer good prizes, nice accomodations and a appartment managment thats actually interested in your well-being. Thank you very much for reading, i really hope i could be of help. read more

Be careful with the students house campus südseite! It is NOT a gouverment-supported students house like Studentenwerk München, it is private. Private mean in this case: these owners only interest is to maximize his profit and to rip you off as much money as they can. -rents are way overprived, 580 euros/19 qm is extremely expensive. way above munich market level. -you have to pay commission when you move in, be prepared for the broker to show up with his BMW jeep (new model) and expensive designer clothes for the visit. -when you move out they are ripping you off money once again: be prepared to lose a remarkable amount of you deposit (2 montly rents) even if youve only live in the campus for a couple of months. you can feel that their only interest is the money. -never forget you key in the room. the facility manager is gonna charge you 200EUR. even though he has the obligatory third key to your room in the basement of campus. so he just needs to go there, take the key and unlock your door. -securities with batons lock the community rooms at 22 oclock every day. -theres a HUGE construction site next to campus, probably one of the biggest in munich atm. be prepared for noise and dust. read more
