Only 15€ for entrance includes a drink. * This was our 7th visit here over the years, always bringing along guests that may be visiting. This year we do not have visitors but we had a great time at our front row table of 5. We sat with a lovely Turkish/Kurdish couple and a sweet young woman from Kviv Ukraine! All strangers when we sat down but left feeling like once again, we have new friends. All over the magic of FLAMENCO! * Tonight we were treated to the amazing Flamenco dancers, Irene de la Rosa & Rosa Sanz (we have seen each perform in different venues in Valencia), the stunning voices of Javier Calderón & María Briones and wow, Manuel Reyes on his magical guitar! Can you believe they perform four nights a week. Thursdays through Sunday. I think we can all say that Flamenco should be woven into our fitness routines! To be able to move and sing like this, the passion is so intense. Absolutely LOVE IT! * And the staff at the door and serving are so friendly and kind. We had so much fun picking out special Christmas treats from a tray of goodies being passed around. The lady at the bar was a sweetheart and we loved visiting with her after the show (thank you for your kindness since we have very poor Espanol). * Thank you all for keeping this Spanish tradition alive and offering it to all of us to enjoy a piece of your history. We are blessed to be able to share it with you!

This hotel sits at the end of the promenade at Playa Arenas. It's a great location for those that…read morewant to take advantage of the beach. The front desk, security, cleaning people, and restaurant employees are hospitable, helpful, and genuinely nice. The hotel buildings feel palatial, and their first-class level of service matches the look and feel. Breakfast at their Brasserie Sorolla restaurant was amazing. What, how can breakfast be amazing? Well, they had all of my favorite food items (jamon, queso, chorizo, variety of fresh bread, fresh squeezed OJ, freshly pureed ripe tomatoes, great coffee, a big slab of raw honeycomb, churros con chocolate, variety of freshly baked Spanish goods, hochata, ... I can keep going, but you get the picture.) They also have a beautiful outdoor eating area where you can hear the surf and smell the fresh sea air. Room service is also very good and delicious. Don't want to eat here? No problem, just a short walk away are a whole line of very good restaurants also lining the promenade. Feeling like dancing or just having a drink? No problem, because just beyond the line of restaurants are another line of, not restaurants, but clubs where you can just hang out. The main hotel building was flanked by two neo Patheon looking buildings that house large event rooms and spas. I really can't say enough good things about this hotel, and without a doubt highly recommend a stay here.
