It's downhill from the palace . So if you plan to see the palace then remember after the gardens - it's a walk uphill . This place is free and so beautiful and quiet . Two peacocks walking around not very afraid of people near them . I saw horse and carriage with guards constantly circling around the top and the bottom of the palace.

There are numerous aisles of pitches for caravans, and large fields for tents. There are plenty of facilities inclduing a pool, games room, kids club and sports courts. There is a restaurant / bar area offering all kinds of drinks and snacks. The food is a self-service type affair which involves making your choice at a machine and printing out a ticket, then paying at the cash desk. The toilet blocks are large, modern and very clean. There are plenty of toilets and showers, hot showers are provided at no extra cost. Reception staff are very helpful and can advise with any queries. Quite expensive at 25 euro for 2 people and a tent, but a good base for Madrid.

There is a large…read morelake where you can rent a boat, multiple playgrounds for children, a golf course, a place to skateboard and many outdoor gyms. I see many groups here enjoy activities together such as yoga and stretching classes. It is also a popular trail to jog and run. In the spring and summertime, I cannot wait to have a picnic outside on the grass. This park is very large and very pretty! There are always activities happening here!

A bus goes from just outside the site and only costs about 1 euro. The campsite is medium sized and pitches are large. The ground is hard, which isn't ideal for tents but it is still possible to get pegs in. The toilet block is large and clean with plenty of facilities. The campsite has a pool (extra charge) and a nice restaurant. There is a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Prices are quite high, at 25 euro for 2 people and a tent, but it is a good base for a visit to Toledo.
