The grounds of the area is pretty nice, it's about a ten minute walk to the beach with sunbeds that rent for 3 EUR a day. Plenty to do for kids with a playground, water slides. Also adults too, a bar on the beach and a grocery store on the grounds as well. You honestly have no reason to leave the area and if you do the city center is a ten walk with a plethora of restaurants and activities. This is a great one stop shop for all things beach! The pool area is not only enormous but caters for any member of the family and level of swimming ability. The Adriatic Sea is a short walk from the pool area through an exclusive camp ground path. The supermarket is abundantly stocked (food and alcohol) as well as the hardware store next door which has all the personal/household cleaning products. Fresh fruit & vegetable store available too. Activities for kids and adults are daily with a concert at the end of the day for kids leading into some adult entertainment afterwards. (Check the Animation Office to the right of the stage/pool/restaurant with the Gelateria for ALL the activities.) Restaurants, bars, gelateria are all available at reasonable prices. Cash dispensers on site plus hairdresser, shoe store, souvenirs, photo shop amongst others. Some activities are paid for like Mini Golf, novelty train ride around the park at night, kids mini bikes and aquatic rides. If you want to go to San Marco Piazza/Burano/Murano (by vaporetti) check the bus timetable the night before as there is a big gap between services after the initial morning services. Showers/toilets are EXTREMELY CLEAN and management keeps on top of the park's cleanliness constantly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

So, I really tried to think about how to review this place. We recently spent ten nights here and…read moreI wanted to do it justice. The positives: It's a great camping area for families. They have cabins and tent for rent. We had a cabana. I was surprised to see how large some of the rental tents were. They look like permanent fixtures. It seems that the tent people have to use the communal showers and facilities - but I'm sure it is cheaper. The cabana was very cabin-like. We lucked out and had great weather. One night of extremely loud thunder storms. That's nature for you. They have their own beach. Two areas with multiple pools for kids of all ages. They also have a 50 m lap pool. The dining area is quite nice with good prices and a beautiful garden for outdoor seating. The food is great! Check in and check out were a breeze. No car traffic from 13:00-15:00 nor 23:00 - 07:30. Which is nice. Mini-kids club for free. Activities all day long. At 20:00 there's an hour-long dance for the kids. It's a lot of fun just to watch your kids enjoy themselves. The negatives: There are no beach areas with lounge chairs (for free nor for rent). My biggest complain is the wifi. They charge and the connectivity is SLOW and a poor range. So we had to trek to the main building to check email. Keep in mind, this place is HUGE. So, it's really not convenient to keep in touch. Ten days was a little long without connectivity to home/work. Please fix this and I'll be back. Otherwise, meh.
