The food in the restaurant is really quite nice. (sushi down the street at the Van Der Valk Hotel is amazing, but the Novotel food is a much better value for money). I like the Novotel for a silly reason. I often pack a PlayStation PS4 when I travel. The network at the Novotel is wired, fast, and the TV has a no-fuss HDMI connection. I can hook up my PS4 and play games in no time at all. The network at the VDV hotel is literally unplayable for games, even though it's acceptable for basic web browsing. The rest of this Novotel lives up to what you expect from a Novotel hotel: clean, functional, polite, reliable. Seriously though: the food is good. I've stayed in a bunch of hotels in the area, and this one is the one I keep coming back to.

Check in was not until 3p and after I told the receptionist I had just flown in from the USA, she immediately arranged for the room to be prepared and within 30 minutes I was in bed. What an awesome, cozy hotel room located in the center of the city. I stayed in the Dream suite, but each is different with varied themes. The owner (Nadja) arrived late afternoon and served a homemade Gin & Tonic from the hotel bar (also quite cozy). The most amazing G&T ever made with specialty local Gin and tonic water and a story to cap off the experience. She offers G&T mixology classes there as well. Not sure if Hotel Bliss is five star rated with Trip Advisor, but the service and experience is a 10 in my book! Worth a trip to Holland and the city of Breda for the "Bliss"!

The main…read morething this hotel has going for it is the proximity to the train station (right next door) and downtown (10min walk away). Otherwise, there's likely better places to stay if you want quiet, comfort and relaxation One big tip I learned near the end of the stay- the rooms on the 1st floor (2nd floor up as the lobby is on the 0th floor) are much bigger and nicer than the remaining rooms in the hotel. The room itself is pretty small and has only the necessities you'd want in a room. The bed is only about a foot off the floor and comes with one thin sheet and one staticky comforter. The desk is tiny so if you want to put your laptop on it and have room for other stuff it's playing tetris. The worst part of the room is the bathroom. Wow is it tiny...I knew I was going to be in trouble when you can only creak the door open far enough to slide in sideways because the toilet is in the way to open the door 90 degrees or more. You also can't take 1 step in any direction without running into something. The tub/shower is only 2 feet wide with the base of the shower only 1 foot wide. I could not stand my feet together in the shower without them going up the sidewall, so you have to stand like a gymnast on a balance beam while in the shower. Also when I sat down on the toilet my head bumped the sink on the other 'side' of the bathroom. For a country with the tallest residents in the world, I never expected the bathroom to be the smallest in the world. As mentioned before this is located right next to the train station...so you hear the trains all night and morning except for the few hours they stop running. You also hear a lot of traffic on the street and sirens. I recommend taking noise canceling headphones or earpieces for a quiet night's sleep The last funny thing about this place is I wanted to go to the gym while here, which is according to the elevator on the 8th floor. However, the buttons only go to the 7th floor. I asked the front desk worker and he said yes the gym is open and you can go up there. So I took the elevator to the 7th floor and then took the stair to the 8th floor. There were no lights on in the 8th floor except emergency sign lights. There was also no carpet and as I walked around the corner I came to a construction zone that was blocked off with a ton of stuff lying around everywhere where it looks like nobody's been up to this floor in years. Thus the gym if it exists is on the other side of an area you can't traverse. Overall if you just want a place that's convenient to the train station and city that's pretty cheap this is your place. If you want to stay somewhere where you can sleep and shower you may want to try elsewhere.

Stef at the front desk was top tier and demonstrated that he embraces guest satisfaction with every customer. The executive suite we occupied was worth it for the extra luxury. The bartenders were fun to interact with and tried really hard to offer options for the items we wanted that were not in stock. When in Eindhoven make this your hotel of choice.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station to the Holiday Inn. The lobby is very modern looking with a bar and restaurant inside. I got to the hotel Sunday afternoon after a long 15 hour travel time. The staff was very friendly and helpful which was really good after all my traveling. The room was really nice and big. Comfortable king size bed with four pillows and they had soft and firm pillows for their guest. Nice big desk for working and free wifi. Wifi was really good in the morning but got a lot weaker at night. As for the bathroom. It was fairly big but there was a problem with the shower. It was a little sunken so the water could gather and the go down the drain. So you had to be very careful on how much water you use during your shower so the shower wouldn't overflow. Drain was very slow but worked. I think they did this on purpose to help control your water usage. My room overlooked the train station and city central. So the hotel was very close to the mall and city central where all the restaurants were. Very convenient for after work. Only problem is shops close at 5pm so we never got to shop. Just eat. Hahaha We had a free breakfast at the hotel and it was a really good with potatoes, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, danish, croissants, breads, fresh fruit and of course juices and coffee. Not a bad spread every morning. It was really nice. Enjoyed my stay. Very convenient but it seemed everyone staying here were business people. One warning. If you want a bike to ride then it's $17 euros a day. You need to order ahead of time cause they have limited supply of bikes. I wouldn't mind staying here again for my business trip. Enjoy.

I had to have surgery, an appendectomy, and I am currently recovering in the hotel until I return home to the United States. The staff has gone out of their way, above and beyond, to make sure I am comfortable as I recover. I would like to send a warm personal thank you to them for that. The food has been amazing.
