I always stop to think when I give something top rating, maximum marks/stars etc, but then I just…read morehave to ask myself if there was anything that could have been better. In this case definitely not. We all loved it. I knew the girls would, after all they're 8 & 10, but having not done 'the camping thing' as a family I wondered what we'd think to it. Loved the fact that the TV went on only once over the 4 days, when it poured down in the morning for 3 hours. The girls watched a DVD, cosy in the overhead bunk, mummy read and daddy did a bit of work on the laptop. Rain stopped and off we went to Yarmouth to the Pleasure Beach and the real beach. Loved being able to stop and get the table out 'in a field somewhere in Suffolk', make some lunch and just enjoy the feeling of freedom of time and space. Kessingland CCC site was our spot for 3 nights and 4 days, ideal with a small play area, spotlessly clean toilets and the rest of the facilities, very helpful and friendly staff and its location right next to the Africa Alive safari park. Which was also a superb experience. Thank you Sara and Chiltern Motorhome Hire and we'll see you again for more adventures exploring the UK.

We are the owners of the Lunar Roadstar listed for hire on East Midlands Motorhome website. Our…read morepride and joy was hire out through Gary to his customers and we received many assurances that it would be looked after and returned to us in pristine condition with any damage to be paid for by the deposit held from the customers booking. It was hired out twice and during this time it was badly damaged, the awning was wrecked, the satellite tv dome was smashed, the bodywork was badly scratched, the bed slats were broken, the shower tray was cracked. We have had to repair all of the above at a cost of over £1000 plus a congestion charge of £60 incurred during the hire and we have not received a penny from Gary despite many promises. Our only option now is to take him to court He is totally unprofessional and has done nothing but lie to us. The latest excuse is that he has been kicked out of the home he shared with his partner, is living in the Motorhome and has no money. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!
