Demarois Buick GMC Mercedes-Benz - Service managers reason as to why if there was a problem the warranty would be voided

WARNING !! DO NOT GO HERE !! EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT !!…read more My van was fine before it entered the shop. Now, its been months of stress, thousands of dollars, and countless lies over the phone and I'm left with a vehicle that STILL needs repaired. They replaced the engine belt and 4 weeks later it flies off on the highway. I was told it would get fixed the next day, and then it was the next day, and then the next. All lies. It took them 3 weeks to replace it a second time. And they charged me $1,600, claiming the alternator was unbalanced and needed replacement. This has never been an issue in the past. They installed it wrong, and instead of fixing it promptly, they wasted 3 weeks and gaslighted me into paying them more money. When I finally get the vehicle back I discover the AC doesn't work. I immediately called them and they ignored my phone call. I submitted a formal complaint to corporate a month ago and still nothing. What is wrong with these people? How is this a real business? My experience has been nothing but lies, deceit, incompetence and frustration. Do not take your vehicle here!

A True Master Class in Customer Service!…read more My vehicle broke down after 5 PM on a Wednesday while I was traveling home (2.5 hours away). Megan from the Service Department happened to still be at work and told me to get my vehicle as close as possible to them. She said they would take care of the rest, and they truly did. Thankfully, I was able to safely limp my truck in, right around 6 PM, even though the Service Department had officially closed at 5 PM. We already knew from the code that it would be a long, expensive repair. Megan and her team assured me they would get my vehicle in first thing the next morning. At 9 AM the next day, I got a call: My truck was ready! And not only that the repair cost was WAY under what it should have been. Their priority wasn't just fixing my truck; it was getting me safely home as quickly as possible. They sent me off in a clean, repaired vehicle that runs exceptionally well, and with a level of care and honesty that guarantees I'll be purchasing my next vehicle from them without hesitation. Thank you, Megan and the entire team -- you have no idea how truly grateful I am to have found my way to you!

Continuation of current review. After GB was caught lying to…read moreme, telling me that my vehicle was in their shop, on a hoist, repairs almost complete, but they found metal in my oil and they really needed to do a complete TEAR DOWN, even going so far as to send me a photo of a part, ??showing metal flakes in my oil?? Imagine his surprise when I told him he was a LIAR!!!!! That I was standing in their parking lot, NEXT TO MY JEEP. That had NOT MOVED since 1/30/26 because I had marked the back right tire, with red lipstick. I was LIVID. I was beside myself. Not only was I there in their parking lot, expecting to pick up my promised, and repaired Jeep, but he had just BOLD FACED LIED. Who knows whose vehicle that part came from? Because my vehicle had NOT MOVED FOR SURE SINCE 1/30/26. I had to leave. I had to calm down. Because they told me "technically that my car was repaired, that I could take it home, but because my warranty was only good for another 5,000 miles" It really was best for them to do a complete tear down. I just didn't have to do it but it clearly was a sign trouble was coming. I was told by another dealership to go back and ask for my vehicle. To get their invoice and have them sign a paper stating it was repaired and in good condition. But they refused...Imagine that?!? Around 3:00 pm I went back to the service center. With my phone recording video. I am gonna skip details I've already said, I did meet with the GM, Michael Duff, Janelle? never got her job description or her last name, or even why she was involved honestly, Garhett Bolton was also included. Michael Duff did nothing other than ask me "What my point was?" I guess having his service advisors, blatantly lie, fabricate odometer readings, tell a customer their vehicle is in the SHOP while speaking to them on the phone, not knowing that the customer is actually standing next to their vehicle in the parking lot, among many other things....I guess that wasn't enough? Never did he ever say..."Give me 24 hours to look into this and I will get back to you." Never did he ever offer an apology. When he did ask what I wanted, I told him I wanted my Jeep towed to another Lithia at his cost and I wanted a rental car at his cost until my Jeep was repaired as he had 2 promised dates of delivery and they failed to deliver my vehicle. He told me "That's not gonna happen." In fact, he told me I wasn't allowed back at that location, to get further service for my vehicle! For a warranty, that I paid for. When I had literally done nothing wrong EXCEPT for point out their short comings. I told them at that point they were no longer allowed to touch my vehicle. He then asked me how long I needed to find towing to pick up my vehicle. He gave me 48 hours. That was on a Wednesday. By Friday, I had contacted corporate. I emailed Brian Osterhout and LithiaCares. I included all of my documentation. I was emailed by their legal department. By Friday, Michael Duff agreed to tow my vehicle to Ronan Lithia, at his expense. No doubt due to my contacting corporate and my endless supporting documentation. Yesterday it was free of their snakelike grips. They emailed me a bill, LOL. Not to my warranty. Probably because it would be FRAUD I SUSPECT? My warranty company let me know that they did not bill them for any repairs. Yet, you will see the invoice they sent me. SNAKES. There is so much more I could share...I will save it for anyone who chooses to contact me for help dealing with this monster of a location. I will say NOT ALL LITHIA'S are like this location. My email is wtlbuck@gmail.com My name is Christina. Feel free to message me for additional questions regarding details that may be confusing.

I am a college student that went to look at trading in my now old car. The personal that I was…read moregreeted by was not only very dismissive and rude, but made frequent remarks to "your parents funds." Only did it stop when I told him that this was all me, and that was the way it was going to be. It felt as if because of my age, I was viewed as a fresh victim to screw over. I ended up not buying the car I was looking at for a variety of reasons. The car quality was horrific, the service light was on, it shook on the road and was super bumpy, and because of how the salesman acted. He made frequent negative remarks regarding some of the neighboring dealerships, however it is clear that he was just as bad as he tried to say the other dealerships are. I will not ever go back to this dealership for a car, and have made sure to inform both my family, friends, and university students of this to hopefully avoid the age discrimination that I occurred.

When I went in to see what they could do, they said if I wanted to give them $5000 more, they'd give me one of 2 vehicles with 185000 miles on them who were likely on their last leg. They don't stand behind their cars. I was told that their shop checked the car out and that it was in good shape. Fat chance! I don't believe it! I would recommend that you like somewhere else... they are not honest nor do they have integrity.

8/3/2024 Second trip here in the past 6months. First time,…read moremy wife was looking to get a specific make and model. They did not have it on the lot (we already knew this as we did some homework first.). They said they can only stock what the dealership sends them. Second time around, again my wife was looking for a specific vehicle (which was advertised online) but was open to purchasing a different one if necessary. Unfortunately they did not have that particular vehicle and so we decided to leave. The sales person came and informed us that the manager wants to talk so we were hoping that they'd be willing to work with us on a different vehicle. My wife asked what kind of incentives was available NOW, if she bought a higher end model. Well, poor thing for the salesman, he lost a sale, because the manager kept us waiting for over 30 minutes and when he finally came to talk to us, the best he could do was $500 below MSRP

I told them it wasn't like this, to which the service guy lied and said yes it was and that there wasn't anything they could do. A new fob and key was over $200. I had to pay for that and they did nothing. If you use them, please take photos of your car and belonging in case they try to pull this on you. They also said I needed an oil change when I had just got one done the week before (service sticker on the windshield and everything). Highly recommend going elsewhere. Update as of 8/2/24: The new fob wouldn't program with my car. I went and spoke to the service manager. He was a nice and fair guy. Got a full refund and he had his guys fix my key. Although they cracked it, they should have replaced it. So disappointed on that but I was satisfied with the fix and got my money back. One thing to note was the managers kindness and listening skills. Also, their actual front desk lady was kind and understanding as well. I recommend if you do have issues, just go talk to the managers. They are reasonable people.
