I scheduled this party about 2 months in advance, and they were up front with all costs, policies and how everything was going to work. They have 2 party packages avaliable, with some great options. They not only provide the space for the event, but rhey provide small plates and napkins, decorations, clean up, a super cute birthday plate and you get 2 hours to do all of your painting, presents and eating. It was well worth the money, as every person got to pick something out to paint and will get it once it's finished in the kiln. They also got to have a fun experience doing something new! I strongly believe prices were very fair, the staff were so kind, helpful and patient with all the crazy kids. We will definitely be coming back to do some family activities, and we will definitely come back for another birthday soon!!

This is a Seventh-Day Adventist run camp, and is available for large group rentals most times of…read morethe year (except for summer months, when camps are running). It is a little more of a resort than a camp, as lodges are multi-storied and there is little rustic feelings remaining along the waterfront (although a hike up the mountain will find satisfy a desire for solitude). But it is beautiful! Hayden Lake is surrounded by rich cabins, and Camp MiVoden is a more affordable vista for the average citizen. The waterfront is well-maintained and the beach volleyball court is a joy to play on. They also have horses and challenge ropes courses available. During the early summer months, MiVoden runs kids' camps, with options available for kids in 1st grade through high school. The counselors are genuinely interested in each camper and invest in your life. Some of my best friends to this day are the ones I met my first few years at camp. There were even a couple of little birds - maybe swallows flying around or sitting way up in the beams during the wedding that added a tiny chirp here & there that was a very neat addition. They brought in a wonderful caterer that our friends often use in CDA & they used the facilities kitchen & it looked like that all went well. The food was excellent. If it was mid to end May or later I think the outdoor area between the tabernacle & the indoor reception area would be perfect for an outdoor reception. The grounds are just beautiful. I was surprised at the number of small children - 1/2 or more of the number of adults to kids who found a variety of things to do so they kept busy the whole time & they really had a great time. There was a bouncy house & then at least 2-3 teens to organize outside games & it was the best family friendly wedding Ive been to since I was young. This was the first wedding I've been to where all the kids were fun to see & happy almost the whole time. Another thing about this venue... it was just about an hour drive from CDA. I don't like to drive but the drive was very easy & it was a beautiful drive the whole way. It was also easy to find. I would definitely recommend this place. I could see it find other uses besides weddings like maybe even birthday parties for any age especially young kids or Quinceaneras etc...
