I received a letter to sign a power of attorney without any explanation why it was needed, otherwise I will not be insured. I called Christie Pie's office and talked to an agent who said that she didn't know about the letter of why they needed a power of attorney. She said that she will get back to me but she never did. I was afraid of being uninsured therefore I canceled my policy and went to a different insurance company. On top of it, I didn't get a fully refund because they have some "non-refundable fees". I emailed Christie Pie to provide and explanation but she never reply to my email. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I don't recommend them.

I have had zero accidents and zero tickets in the state of Florida in 11 years. In my book that's what you call a safe driver. Unlucky for me, I hit a turned over orange cone that was in the middle of I-4 at three in the morning. Had to just run the darn thing over considering I was doing 65 mph. They told me they would log the claim in as a comprehensive claim. Then two months later when I lost my safe driving discount, they told me I had an at-fault accident on my LEXIS-NEXIS report. When asked why it was filed that way, they told me that's the way it is. Allstate did not help me at all in this situation and kept explaining how them screwing me over was the right way to handle the situation. You WILL get nowhere with claims department people as they don't deal with customers. THEY TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY AND IT WOULD BE A COMPREHENSIVE CLAIM!! If someone there is telling people wrong information then they need to look within. And they told me that it was all my fault and charged me way more for my deductible. As a result I switched to liberty mutual and saved a ton of money. They should've kept me on even at a small risk due to the fact that you know I don't get in accidents or have any tickets. I had to contact LEXIS-NEXIS and took the better part of two months to resolve this with them. They removed the at fault accident from my report and now is correct no thanks to Allstate. You've lost my business and recommendations for good!
