Shrimp coctail is ahhhhhh, not the best but okay.
Damian P.

For a quick "authentic" meal before you leave Cozumel, hey why not? I'm not sure if I would come here again due to it being so slow when it comes to service, but for what it is it is. Had the shrimp cocktail but it took forever to arrive. The ceviche was fresh but again, took forever to arrive. Ummm come on we have a ferry to catch back to Cozumel and I better not miss it. It's a little off the beaten path but ask the locals and you will find it. All in all, the joint is tiny and maybe will hold a good 30 people but it works. Now they do have unisex bathroom that needs a cleaning so please be mindful that you ate not in a four star restuarant. Oh and hold your nose for sure. The waitress is kind and will accommodate as much as she can but is slow as molasses. Sweet as pie though so that will more then make up for the slowness. Unless you are in a hurry of course then you may get upset (I sort laugh emoji), now if you want a beer and seafood. Check them out, but again I will reiterate, if you are in a hurry, just skip this spot and move on. Price wise you will be pleasantly surprised that it is inexpensive and worth the effort, and might I add, again it's good food for the price. You can easily feed four for way under a meal in a higher end seafood restaurant so enjoy it and seriously give them a try. And on this hot day a beer is so worth it so don't skimp on a beer for sure. But please mind the clock, as I said over and over, they are slow to serve their customers.

Shrimp cerviche tostada $3

Small family owned place with simple dishes and inexpensive prices. My favorite place in Cozumel as out of the beaten path. Shrimp tostada was wonderful.

Crab, shrimp, and marlin tacos. Small and just "ok"...

I wanted to try some seafood, and this place was recommended by a local shopkeeper. Small, clean restaurant, and was air-conditioned fortunately. Maybe had 7-8 small tables. Mostly locals here while we ate. The complimentary chips, guacamole, and sauces were good. I went with their $2 tacos on corn tortillas. They were small but not bursting with flavor. The shrimp tacos contained lightly breaded and fried shrimp and a smidgeon of raw cabbage. Needed some sauce. The crab taco was somewhat unexciting. The Marlin fish taco packed the most flavor of the 3. My wife and I thought the (cold) fish salad taco was flavorful and different, but fairly meh. A family operated place. It was great entertainment watching the owner's 2 yr old son/grandson play around while we ate. I'd prob recommend somewhere outside of town and with a view if tou were considering seafood in Coz.

Excellent! Try the Camilo's ceviche, it is outstanding!

Very friendly service, conveniently located and accessible prices. We tried sopa de lima and ceviche Camilo's, both were delicious!

My friend & I stumbled upon this charming family-run restaurant in December 2025 & it was our
read morefavorite dining experience of the whole trip. Don't be fooled by the modest appearance, the food is top notch! It is a casual environment with tables in the back in an open air but covered courtyard. You will not find fresher seafood or more authentic dishes anywhere on the island. Diego, the chef-owner, and the rest of his team were so kind & welcoming. It was like eating at my favorite uncle's house. I am an avid and enthusiastic eater - fish tacos & ceviche are two of my all-time favorite foods and these are the absolute best I have ever had. Incredibly fresh, full of flavor, & generous portions at very reasonable prices. The guacamole was also very tasty. I look forward to returning during all my future visits to Cozumel.

Good food but kinda high prices
read more One of the people I was traveling with really wanted some fresh seafood and specifically ceviche. We found this place on Yelp and went to check it out. The place looks like a seafood market from the front but you enter to the back and there is a whole outdoor dining area with plenty of chairs and tables. It can get really warm on hot days but they have a bunch of big fans. We weren't super hungry so we shared a large guacamole and a large seafood ceviche grande. The guac was really sour/lemony but in a good way. I enjoyed it. The seafood ceviche had all sorts of seafood, including fish, shrimp, octopus and other goodies. The seafood in it tasted fresh and was delicious. The order was big enough for 3 people to share. We ended up paying about $80 which I thought was rather pricey for just some guac and ceviche to share. The ambience was super casual and nothing fancy. The service was cool. It is good seafood but just know it's on the pricier end.
