I literally just moved in yesterday so this is first impressions. (While this is my 1st day, I was…read moreon the property 2-3 times before moving in.) I will start with the PROS: 1.) The leasing agent Vanessa is great at her job, a real saleswoman. She really has mastered connecting and relating to the client. Seek her out if you do decide to lease here. 2.) The community is nice a clean and modern vibe. I like the general decor of the common areas. 3.) They have some nice bonuses such as free parking, including unassigned underground space. They also include a small storage closet as well, so if you are down sizing you can hold on to a few things or much more $25. Additional storage units are available for a small monthly fee. 4.) The master bedroom is spacious and the closet size is nice for a walk-thru. 5.) The pantry, linen, & coat closets are sized for ample storage. 6.) I love the laundry closet and washer and dryer. Yes, I already used them. There is adequate space for products, irons, steamers, etc. I only wish there was space to easily storage my ironing board in there. 7.) The darker carpets are nice and comfy. They looked to be a little more forgiving if you have children. I also appreciate the non-white taupe walls, but flat/eggshell is not as forgiving. 8.) The balcony is nice and made better by MY view of the pond. Now the CONS: 1.) The lease makes you feel like you signing your soul over to the Devil. I mean it goes over almost everything to assume as little liability as possible (which is pruedent business practice), they take it to the max. 3.) The move-in process was less than thorough, but that could be that my move-in was delayed 2 hours (my fault). 4.) While the kitchen has nice basic upgrades the bathrooms lack the same touches, although the cabinets are the same throughout. Do not look for tile, at least not in the handicap accessible units. The sinks are basic. 5.) The living room is small, to the point that I would have preferred smaller bathrooms for a bit more space. 6.) I learned very quickly that soundproofing is non-existent. I can here the traffic noise (but the access to the hwy and shopping is great) as well as my neighbors above. Like as I write this in my bathroom I can hear the ladies laughing and enjoying themselves. Now I also hear their water flow like it is pouring directly on my ceiling. I hope I can adjust well. So all in all, The Junction is a nice place with a few draw backs. I thinks it can be a great place for singles, roommates, or even couples without kids. However, if you do have children the pool seems to be the meet up spot to make friends. I hope this helps.

We lived there 2 years... watched it go down hill after Jeff, the property manager, got promoted…read more By the 2nd year and the 3rd manager we were disgusted. You definitely overpay for what you get. (The only positive was the maintenance team) I'm sharing a few pics, one a non-resident running her car in the closed garage making a video... another pic for the carts that are to be for groceries...being left in the garbage area with garbage on it... ....bottles of beer thrown against the wall and cigarettes put out in the carpet. People having loud domestic fights in the hall and the police having to be a regular presence. At the end it didn't seem like we were living in a high quality complex. We were just laying the price of one! And management didn't seem to care at all. Run.... don't sign anything....

I lived in Appleton Place apartments for 7 years. It is a nice, quiet place. My problem was with…read morethe check out procedure. I feel like management swindled me out of my security deposit and then some for what i believe to be "normal-wear-and tear". We did leave a stain on the carpet that was pretty much shampooed out. I have pictures to prove this. Average carpet lasts 7 years, and this carpet was over 7 years old.Management tried to get me to replace he carpet in the entire unit. I fought this. I ended up losing my entire security deposit and owed over $200. Management also stated that my blinds were dirty and that I would get charged. I attempted to remove the blinds so i could clean them, even though they are the cheap ones that rip easily. I was told by management that "between you and I, the company is going to replace them, so don't bother". Even though i was thankful for this, it made me think that they could possibly replacing everything and just trying to recover some money from me so they didn't have to pay for it all. I was also charged for them to clean the front loading washer- which is notorious for collecting mold and stains. (I cleaned this on a regular basis- so i am curious how they cleaned it better than me.) I was also charged for the cleaning of tracks in between the patio doors, which collected grease. (didn't even know this was a thing?) I feel like Morgenson Realty took advantage of me. I would've taken this to court, however between court fees and time i would need to take off work- YOU WIN. Not to mention, i was told i would get a call back as to how we would settle this. Next thing i know, i receive a letter from collections! This was a terrible way to end a 7 year relationship that we had an overall good experience with up until this point. One of the things that baffles me- my checkout was finished around 12:30pm on Friday. By 4pm, the new tenants had moved in. I don't know how all this carpet was ripped up and replaced in this time frame, along with re-painting and getting those other things cleaned and ready for the new tenants. They must have worked very very fast. I had friends that checked out the day before and they had a similar experience.
