This is a little gem in the middle of nowhere! There is a pet store inside, along with a crazy clean and loving boarding kennel. There are flat screen animal planet tvs, clean floors, huge outdoor spaces, and fluffy beds for your pet. the store has stocked items you didn't know you were missing until you saw them, like the PetTrek water carrier for your dogs when you hike, camp, etc. We hike the Big Horns frequently and this is a blessing! Two major things: the owner is a vet and the staff is knowledgable. We will be going toDenver in a couple weeks and our two girls will rest well and actually have a great time while we are away. I've been here several times with my sister. She bought her chinchilla, Josie, from here and goes back for all of Josie's supplies and toys. Josie's favorite treats are loofah chews, which we can't find anywhere else, and so when we're at Camelot, we stock up on them. The owner is very friendly and always asks how Josie is doing and wants to know how much she's grown and what kind of personality she has developed. The owner has several chinchillas herself, so it is always fun and interesting to pick her brain about Josie related issues. Also, the store is HUGE! they have everything you could ever need and they are decently priced. There is a fish pond inside and a tiny replica of Camelot near the "stream" that feeds into the fish pond. All the animals are well cared for and loved, even before you take them home, so you know you'll be getting an animal that has been socialized a bit and will have an easier time adapting to you and your home. The store is clean, bright and airy with none of the "pet shop" smell that you generally associate with pet stores. And, even though the store has lots of fish for sale, you can't smell them and all the tanks are clean and crystal clear. They even have cute little bunnies for sale, and having raised rabbits for a long time, I have immense respect for someone who takes such great care of them and provides them with wonderful, fun little cages (rabbits are picky and finnicky) and they always take the time to talk to the animals when they're feeding them, changing the water and bedding and cleaning the cage. Not my favorite even though I picked from a review on Yelp. I asked for a suite for my dog they finally called me back and I did get a "suite" which I did not look at first. My bad. I was told my dog was messy and there would be extra charges next time. I've NEVER had a problem with him at home or any other kennel. When I picked him up he was in a back room. Dirty. And filled with a wall of cats in pens. No dogs. He would have been happier in a cage. No offense to you cat people but it was not good. Everything looked good on paper but it sure wasn't a good experience for us. I won't use again. read more

I have two dogs that I occasionally have to board when I travel. I would not leave them anywhere else. My one dog is 17 1/2 years old and does not stress at all when there. I feel both "my boys" are in great care with Stacey and the staff. read more
