I am a tenant of this property for a few years now. Jay is doing such a great job managing this beautiful property.

Been a tenant at Woodcreek for several years, recently transferred to a bigger apartment and they…read moreabsolutely had NOTHING ready. There are several issues I reported last week that have not been solved, they clearly did not inspect the apartment before a new tenant moved in or they would have realized how bad off this place is. Not only have they not fixed the issues yet (sink leaking, mold in and around sink, garbage disposal broken, cracked tub parts, brown stain on new carpet right when you walk in, wires hanging loose in fridge, and on and on) but the maintenance guy that came to my apartment to fix the internet wiring that was cut and removed by the carpet people (holes and wiring sticking out of all the walls btw), he went and immediately reported that I had gotten a new cat and they slapped a lease violation on my door within the 4 hours I was gone from the apartment. So they can't fix all the issues with the apartment but they sure are quick to try and give you a violation before you can even fully move in! if they were that quick with fixing the issues their tenants report, maybe they'd get better reviews. I would not live here if it wasn't the only affordable option around.

I live in the older apartments and when I moved in it seemed that they put brand new carpet and linoleum down. I had an issue with water pressure and they fixed it within 24 hours. They clear the parking lot immediately when it snows, and seem to take care of their property and buildings. Honestly, I don't know what else I could ask for. They have been very kind and helpful to me and I have had no issues with anything from them.

We love living at Breeze Terrace Apartments! Great location right off the highway, directly beside…read morethe Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets, not far at all from decent shopping centers (Best Buy, Target, Costco, Kohl's, JCPenney, Woodman's, Gurnee Mills, etc) and restaurants (Olive Garden, Cheddar's, Panera, etc). Not to mention you're directly in between two major cities: Chicago and Milwaukee, with a quick 45-60 min commute you can get to either of those two cities and have plenty of things to do. The clubhouse amenities are very nice, so far we've personally only used the pool table but they have an excellent 24 hour gym and yoga room, as well as a fire pit (couldn't use the fire pit when we visited the clubhouse because it was covered in snow) and some grills, which we are waiting until the wintertime ends to try them out. The downside is that unlike luxury apartments we've lived in before, there's no valet trash, but there's plenty of space in the community garbage bins to just walk over and toss your own trash bags in there. You can feel very safe here within a gated community with high-tech camera surveillance at the main gate entrance (which can be unlocked via an app, or Siri if you have an iPhone, super cool!) as well as surveillance cameras (resembling a ring video doorbell) at the entrance of the apartment buildings. One thing you'll want to consider is they are currently building new apartment buildings, so construction goes on all day on weekdays. Kind of sucks for us while trying to put our baby down for naps during the day while they're hammering away and drilling and whatnot right outside of her bedroom window, but we moved in after most of the unit style that we wanted was already gone and rented out so we had to take the very last available one, and it happened to be directly in front of the construction zone. The apartment itself is very spacious, and the garage has plenty of room for our full size SUV and loads of storage space behind the car, as well as a chest freezer that we have. We use our driveway for extra parking for our other car, but you can pay extra per month to park in a heated underground parking deck if you so choose, or park in the plentiful ground level parking, which is no additional charge. We love the quartz countertops in the kitchen the most. The one thing we don't like about these apartments is the fact that none of the bedroom/bathroom closets have doors, they're always open and anyone can see what's in it. The only closets with doors are the pantry and coat closet. Not sure why they designed it that way, but it's not a dealbreaker for us. They are also pet friendly. Overall, if you're looking for a great apartment complex with friendly and helpful staff and nice amenities in the Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie area, Breeze Terrace is the place for you! We've shopped around for apartments and toured tons of them in this area until we decided that this was the best one, especially if you commute to work or school in Illinois; this is the place to be!

I'm at the tail end of my lease and really can't wait to get out. Since moving in last year, I've…read morehad numerous issues. To start with the most egregious, I had two trips to the emergency room for anaphylactic shock after getting stung by a bee- IN MY APARTMENT. I've had countless other close encounters. My numerous maintenance requests went unanswered except for once. They had an exterminator come in to spray around my balcony for them, but he kindly left my sliding door open to welcome several bees inside. The bees were not solely isolated to my balcony, it was easy to watch them disappear behind the siding along the length of my building. It begs to question the exterminator's due diligence in carrying out a job he was hired to do. All my requests to remedy the situation after that went unanswered. Shortly after moving in, I noticed one of the windows in the second bedroom leaked when it rained. I had noted on my move in sheet that there was noticeable water damage under that window, but I was shocked that it wasn't remedied or even checked. Moving on to the parking situation. One of the biggest draws to me renting here was for the garage parking space - we all know how Wisconsin winters are. Much to my dismay, I found myself being parked in on a regular basis by the maintenance crew. I can't tell you how many times I've had to attempt to find them to move their truck, but it was usually once or twice a week. One would think that the complex would just give maintenance their own parking spot, but I guess logic doesn't apply here. I'm constantly being kept up at night by the sound equivalent to a herd of elephants running amok in the apartment above me (their dog enjoys running laps around their apartment at all hours) and the dog's constant barking in the apartment below. I feel like there should be a building specifically designated as the pet friendly building instead of subjecting everyone to the pet dander and the sounds that comes with owning a pet. Another issue I have is the overwhelming odors in the hallway that seep into my space. It specifically says in the lease that odors need to be attempting to be kept within one's apartment as to not disturb the neighbors. I'm sorry, but the smells of cigarettes, grilling, curry, burned popcorn, etc are not the most desirable. Don't get me wrong, I like curry and popcorn, but I don't necessarily care to smell my apartment up when I'm not doing the cooking. Be prepared to have your apartment overheated all year long, the electric heat never turns off despite setting the thermostat to off. You do have to pay for electric so you end up paying for heat you don't want. I do have additional issues with this place, but I'm aware I've made this review too long - most will not read the whole thing. I'm truly counting the days to my lease's end. I can't wait to move out.
